“Teviot Cottage was very comfortable and well appointed. It is in a great spot being walking distance to the High Street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. “We had a very nice time at our stay in Gifford. The town is quaint and in a beautiful setting. We were visiting Edinburgh so had to take a taxi to Haddington then bus to Edinburgh so keep that in mind if you’re not renting a car. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable. The only issue we had was with the internet going out but we appreciated the management company responding quickly to help us resolve.”

The owners are lovely people very friendly and helpful The area is great for getting to many close by areas and dog walks. Love the art around the gardens, fenced in garden great for our pooches. Definitely going back, need to suss the bath as couldn't get hot water but this was an "us" fault not there's as we are rubbish with reading instructions. The only let down to our weekend was……

“Great location, fabulous views of the rolling hills and loch, together with a real sense of 'getting away from it all'. The downstairs of the cottage was cosy and adequately equipped. We particularly enjoyed the open fire that was set up ready to go, we only had to light it and there was plenty of spare wood to burn. A point for our own learning is that next time we will select somewhere that does not welcome pets as many parts of the upstairs did smell like dogs were there before us. So much so……
