"First they are remodeling and the pool was closed, they had breakfast equipment coming, but when we were there they only had one kind of serial. The staff however were friendly, and the room was clean. It was just disappointing that a breakfast was advertised and only one type of serial. "

"Leenie was an amazing host and the cottage was perfect. I stayed for a week to watch my son play baseball at USA stadium only 3 miles from the cottage. The perfect place to stay for a baseball tournament! Leenie stopped by to show me around the cottage when I first arrived and was so welcoming and kind. She even lent me a book after I told her I had hoped to do some reading while I was there. I ate almost every meal at the cottage and it had everything I needed to do so. My biggest priority was feeling safe, as I was traveling alone, and I absolutely felt safe and comfortable at all times. I was working remotely while there and the WiFi worked well and I was able to spend one whole day working from the back porch with the sun shining, such a peaceful setting. Don’t hesitate to book this property! I hope to be back for more baseball next year. "

"Arrived to the property and there were no directions on how to check in. No email with check in directions and no way to contact the host. "

"It was a dump. Things didn’t work. There were full-time tenants. Which is OK for being a big hotel chain, they wouldn’t have broken cars down in the parking lot. The front sliding doors had to manually be opened by hand to get into the front desk for my room."

"5 star for us...owner very responsive to any questions. We've stayed in several places from TN to FL to TX and this is by far our favorite. Owners have concentrated to detail. Just bring food and maybe a box of Kleenex (only thing not there ) Large spacious and room for everyone to spread out. Quiet and nice surroundings."

"Check in code did not work, and it took about an hour to finally get in with a new code from a gentleman who called and was gruff and unkind. Initial view outside home was unkept- full trash on curb, mailbox overflowing, torn flag, dirty doors and walkways. Area is very rundown and unsafe feeling but two blocks away is fine but we had no trouble. Inside was quite dirty- footprints on walls, all walls and baseboards needed scrubbed, floor made socks black in minutes, stained couch, stove was so dirty inside and out that when we went to use oven it smoked out the house, fridge was leaking water extensively and bottom drawers inoperable, half of bulbs were removed or out, rest were super dim, showers leaked, bathrooms were very run down and grout was in need of bleaching. Though theres a photo of bunkbeds in the listing, there are not actually any bunkbeds on the property, so we were short a bed. Fence is falling down in yard and dogs could easily go into back neighbors property. Next door neighbors keep their dogs out 24/7 and they are agressive and bark the entire time you are outside. I have never had a bad VRBO stay, so this was a pretty extreme fail. I asked to check out 2 days early for our 3 day stay and they spent all day deciding, then said theyd refund me one night thats it. I sent photos, i communicated before and during trip. We stayed because we couldnt afford to pay for 2 places, and hotels and vrbos were fully booked. Photos wont load to share. Its bad! "
