We had the best stay ever!!

The best hostel in South America by far!!! The hostel is owned by a lovely family that makes it so hard to leave! The area is super safe l, about 2 blocks from the centeral bus station, a block away from a huge supermarket and right next to a lovely park. The breakfast is home made, delicious homemade bread and cake! Silvio even woke up early one day to prepare is especially for us cause we had to go on a tour. Besides, the vibe is super calm and "homey". The rooms and the bathrooms are always clean and fully equipped with everything you need. We had a great stay!! If even in Mendoza again no doubt we will come back!!

Muito aconchegante

Fiquei em vários hostels na minha viagem pela Argentina e este com certeza foi o que mais sentirei saudades. Não foi o mais bonito, o hostel é simples mas não da pra perceber pelas fotos o quanto é aconchegante e o proprietário é muito simpático e prestativo, todos os passeios que fiz em Mendoza foi por indicação dele. Recomendo com toda certeza este Hostel a quem está visitando Mendoza, a localização dele é muito boa, está de frente pra uma praça bem bonita e a poucas quadras de ruas cheias de comércios e bons restaurantes.

Não recomendo

O quarto era pequeno e sem graça. Havia apenas a cama e uma pequena mesa no canto com 2 cadeiras. A localização é nos fundos do hostel, no alto de uma escada. Na reserva dizia que havia café da manhã, mas não vimos sequer alguém que trabalhasse no hostel na manhã que fomos embora, para fazermos check out ou pelo menos avisar que estávamos indo. Há poucos banheiros no hostel, sendo que se 1 pessoa estivesse tomando banho não havia como usar o banheiro.

It was nice to stay there. The size of the 6 person room was pretty spacious compared with some other hostels. Their living room area and kitchen are also spacious and comfortable. If they have more bathrooms, it would be excellent!!

Great service. Clean facilities. Would Stay Again

Stayed in Mendoza a few days and came across this hostel online. Service was a pleasant surprise. The neighborhood looks a little sketchy. That is to say that it looks a little run down, but it's quiet. I witnessed no problems. There are several kioskos and a mercado within walking distance, as well as cheap eateries. The downtown area is about a km or 2 away. Hostel also provides tourist information about winery and other local tours. I recommend visiting Bodega Toneles 5 blocks away. Good wine, small/affordable selection. Excellent Dinner w/ambience. onsite washing machine, but clothes are hung to dry.Kitchen has 2 refrigerators and a functional stove, oven, & sink.Breakfast consists of your selection breakfast cereal,media lunas, toast, cake,& cookies.There are 2 bathrooms both clean & functional. The hostel also provides a large towel. Not a party hostel. was relatively quiet during my stay. People were friendly and social. Hostel has a heater in the common area and keeps the place warn.Bunk beds were comfortable.There are lockers in the rooms. Overall I'd recommend this hostel. Service is the highlight of this hostel.I left with a great impression.
