THE WOODLANDS - VERY QUIET SECLUDED CABIN
The Woodlands cabin is located close to the main street in Mentone, AL. Enjoy a quiet stay at a very secluded cabin, which is close to Desoto State Park, Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga, TN, and Little River Canyon National Preserve in Fort Payne, AL. The Woodlands is perfect for a weekend getaway!!! Starting July 1, 2025, we will be PET FRIENDLY!!!! Pets up to 35lbs will now be able to stay at our cabin.

The cabin was great! It was very clean and welcoming, and it was stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend. All of the 'extras', like the grill, firewood, candles, movies, games, walking stick, binoculars, etc, made this place even more homey and special. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We definitely plan on going back!

Great weekend getaway! Quiet, quaint, wooded, and full of wildlife. My wife and I had a great stay! If you want more than simple, don't go. If you love simple and going back in time, go! We give it five stars for what it is! If you love deer, deers, and more deers, plus squirrels, etc, you might enjoy this spot. If you smoke, like we do, you will enjoy this place, as outside ashtrays are on both front and back porch.

Such a quiet getaway so close to Mentone and the restaurants. The deer were all around this property. The cabin was awesome well maintained and cleaned the property was beautiful we'll plan to stay there again

Quiet and Relaxation
One of the best vrbos that we've stayed in. I felt like i was at granny's house from back in the day. We loved everything about it. I stayed on the porches most of the time. The decoration and theme of the house is great. I loved the scriptures, and really needed them. Owners knew my story and why i needed the quiet, so they left us alone. And we didn't need anything. When other reviewers said they thought of everything that you may need, they truly have. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us. Hope to be back soon!

The cabin was just aa pictured and more ! All the special details was an extra plus ! Although it was just me, there was still ample room to move around and be comfortable for more than 2 people. Kitchen had all necessary items.Bathroom was clean and so organized ! The two porches, front and back, is the perfect spot to relax and take in the peace andvquiet of nature. At night, the train coming thru gave it a rural country feel. Close to everthing Mentone has to offer, and not far from other activities and shops. Will definitely return, maybe in winter next time to try out the big fireplace !!

Getting back in touch with GOD
This is the perfect place to relax do nothing, and just commune with nature.. it’s quiet cozy, and very private.. we only saw deer, squirrels, and birds. the sound of silent nature at its best. Host provided wonderful accommodations.will be returning soon
