Very nice hotel with limited rooms. Walking distance to beach and promenade. Restaurants nearby. Very clean and tidy. Staff was very good. Small fridge in room, no restaurant, yet. Coffee available at front desk for 50 pesos....would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room like most other hotels.

Very nice colonial style hotel with a very short walk to the beach/ Malecon. Hotel offers breakfast that I recommend, affordable and will help start your morning. Truly a gem in the area. Will definitely use it again for my visits in Progresso Yucatan.

Wonderful stay

Check in was great and very helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Location is very good. Close to the beach and bars and restaurants nearby. Not far from the eastern end of the Malekon

The hotel is a beautiful old villa nicely restored. The rooms are so high like double height...well maintained and comfortable. Just a little out of town

This is a no-frills hotel, but charming and very comfortable. Close to the malecón (boardwalk) with all its people watching and restaurants. The little room for dining had surprisingly good food! And the waiter/chef was lovely, accomodating and served food that looked and tasted great. They provided us with beach towels on request and were very welcoming.

Beautiful historic property. Very quiet at night and in the morning, which is so important for being on vacation. Well maintained pool area. All staff were friendly and helpful. Good in-house restaurant. Chef personally came out and greeted me. Chef also offered to modify any of the dishes on the menu to my preference. Can't beat that kind of service!

This hotel is very clean, the staff is excellent, and it’s close to everything you want to be near. It’s one block off the beach, and about four blocks from the Malecon. It’s an older property, so be sure, and bring at least one surge protector with extra outlets. All in all, it’s a great place to sleep and hang out. We will be back.

Room was very clean. Love the high ceilings and staircase. It seems to have been an old hacienda remodeled into hotel. The balcony is a great plus. The outside needs a little TLC. I wonder about the pool as it doesn't seem to have a filtration system. The hotel is located a block from the beach however this part of the beach is not really for relaxing & swimming. The beach to swim & relax is where the malecon starts is 3 long blocks away ~15min walk. The hotel has a little restaurant, apart from that, not many eateries less than ~15min walk away.
