"Property is on a convenient exit off Interstate 65 and away from most of the tourist activities, yet within one exit off the access road to Mammoth Cave National Park. Hotel staff were responsive, cordial and kept a very clean property."

"We stayed in a cabin. It looked a bit old from outside but it was nice inside. No TV, microwave and hair dryer. The front door was warped and rain came in from the gap. Toilet was leaking at the base when flushed. The floor behind the toilet bowl was dark and probably rotten. We told the lodge about these problems so hopefully they will fix them. Luckily no more rain after the first day, we had comfortable stay for a few days. No wifi, but you can get some cell signal. I could text and post pics without issues. Around cabin has chairs you can relax and watch birds, lizards, turkey, squirrels. Close to Cave city for eating out. I didn’t see that many bugs which usually issues in cabin. Beds are very comfortable. AC works really well. Very nice place to stay. We wish there are more things to do other than cave tours. Cave boat tour is in Bowling Green."

"The hotel was perfect for getting ready for a Thursday wedding of my sister. My husband checked in with my son, when he checked in the staff got paperwork together and stated they would be taking off the 25.00 fee for early check in. He already had family staying and could have stayed with them until check in. I will pay the fee because that is the few but was told differently just makes me feel indifferent about staying again. Also, the breakfast was not to bad the pancakes instead the normally waffles were tasty"

"We arrived right after water was restored after a water line break in the area. So the property was under a water boil advisory. This isn't the hotel's fault but the staff could have been more prepared to answer questions. From a comment made by the person checking us in, this has happened before. The least they could have done was to provide guests with bottled water to brush their teeth - just a suggestion for the next time this happens. When asked if I could get a refund on the stay before we checked in, I was told to reach out to the manger as she only works there. But the manager wouldn't be there until 8am the next morning. Since all the hotels in this area were impacted we didn't have much of choice. So we stayed. We were there to visit Mammoth Cave the next morning. The property is rundown despite what you see in their posted pictures. Air conditioning units make awful noises. One of our rooms was missing the front door casing and you had to slam the door to get it to shut. The TV and phone in one room did not work. One room had a slight smell of urine. And the fitted sheets were too small for the mattress and would come off which is just yick! We left a note with the front desk as we checked out the next morning with the list of issues to give to the manager. I would have expected a discount on our stay for the inconvenience and the fact that there was limited free breakfast which we did not partake. Glad we only had to stay here one night."
