Bad area, run down hotel right next door, had someone outside our window and knocked on it at night and had to have police called. TV was small, breakfast was nothing both days except a waffle and cereal. Pool was filthy, just a very trashy feel here.

The stay over all wasn’t bad. I was however very disappointed with the fact that I got locked out of my room for almost two hours. The battery on the door reader died and the only one that could fix it was the maintenance guy that was not on site and had to drive over. The front desk lady seemed indifferent to the situation and barely said anything to me. I am mostly disappointed with the customer care of the situation. I would have appreciated being checked on there were no other guests at the desk she could have offered water or at least asked if I was ok. But what bothers me is that not everyone on staff knows how to do this? What if someone was having a medical emergency inside? Or I had life saving medication in there? The check out lady seemed more apologetic than the one the night before but it was just a depressing way to spend the night. Once we finally got into our room we were so tired we just passed out and we are parents who hardly get nights to ourselves so I left kind of sad.

Weak breakfast, funny smelling rooms, hot water lasted like 33.5 seconds, and the conditioning unit did not cycle so it kept blowing heat making it super hot in the room but if you turned it off obviously it would get freezing in the room.

Everything was great other than couldn’t use the gym. Even the front desk couldn’t get us in with his master key. Rooms are nice. Great location to Mammoth. Pool is small but perfect for the kids.

Pros- property was clean, staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, good parking. Cons- Shower was almost warm and turned cold within several minutes. Could hear everything from neighbors in hallway, elevator dinging, to people walking around above my room. Upstairs someone was being excessively loud, I asked front desk if I could move to another room. Front desk staff called management who stated their policy does not allow room changes, despite hotel being anywhere near capacity (maybe 10 cars in parking lot). Management told woman at front desk (who was the ONLY person working at the entire hotel) to go upstairs and tell the room to be quiet. Needless to say this was ineffective and I did not get any sleep. Not customer focused, will never stay again

Room was clean, but when we tried to check in after 4 p.m. (which is after the check in time) they did not have our room ready. The keys were all messed up, so we had to get a new key the next day. The shower was luke warm, and you had to go to the front desk to get in the pool. The breakfast was waffles, yogurt and cereal, and that was it. It was cheap, so there is that.

Worst experience ever. There were visible stains on the bed cover. The shower had no hot water and no curtain, making it impossible to shower. Despite all these issues and the fact that multiple rooms were clearly available, the staff still cannot change a room since they were not authorized by management to move guests under any circumstances, and when asked to speak with management, no manager ever showed up. This is a complete failure of basic hospitality standards and they refused to give refund.

Sleep inn and suites is a wonderful hotel… Very clean, very new, or at least it looks very new… The staff was wonderful, kind knowledgeable gave tips somewhere to eat, the room is clean as can be… Just a wonderful overall experience.

The room was clean and that’s the only nice thing I have to say. There is nothing but a sheer over the window and all night a blue light from outside lit up our room. In addition, it’s the middle of December and we had to turn the air on because the room was uncomfortably hot. Didn’t sleep at all. Horrible.
