「Well thought out cottage design very well presented but testing for size - just an extra 5% of space would yielded 20% increase in convenience and enjoyment. Hosts and neighbours are excellent. Parking is unusual but workable. As a couple (one Aussie and one Aussie born in Yorkshire) we really enjoyed our time at this cottage and would highly recommend it. Walk to village is 10 minutes and huge number of attractions within 40 mins.」

「The cottage was lovely, so clean and welcoming. Easy to get into - given we arrived very late. We had a 1 year and 3 year old - it was lovely that Marie provided a high chair and travel cot - making our luggage a lot less. Also the provision of children's books was fab. The TV had all the usual apps that we could also sign into via our accounts. All in all a very good stay. 」

「Spent 4 nights in this lovely, comfortable and well equipped property. Great location with walks from the door and well placed to explore the Holme Valley, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, National Coal Mining Museum and for wandering off to the Peak District. Also convenient for Huddersfield. Quiet location minutes from Almondbury where there are shops, pubs cafe and also from Farnley Tyas and it’s pub. Note: the property is on a bus route to Huddersfield. Would we stay again? Definitely 」
