“We are regular visitors. The rooms are always clean and well-equipped and the staff are helpful and friendly.”

“We made our booking via a partner agent on arrival we were told to had to pay for parking which we weren’t aware of. £5 per night. We’ve stayed here many times over the years & never paid for parking . Despite pre checking in online the day before arrival with both guests details there was only 1 set of towels. Room was clean although I found an extremely long black hair in the bathroom I have a blonde bob. Value for money it served its purpose for our hiking break.”

“Clean but dated room. Had trouble with noisy neighbours and the night porter tried to sort it but wasnt to be....however the manageress Gillian was great sorting a free replacement stay. ”

“Our room was clean and tidy with all of the amenities i would have expected in a budget hotel. There were a few minor issues with the room which needed repair and which we reported when we let. Neither had any major impact on our stay.”

“Bagdon Hall is set in beautiful grounds, and staffed by wonderful people who have worked there because they love the place. I did too, along with my two little dashing dachshunds. I wish that I could have stayed longer. The food was delicious, and fresh and locally sourced. Thank you all. ”

“Room was ok . Dull dark decor and v small television. Table light worked but wonky and carpet threadbare in some areas . Clean . Check in was not very welcoming , lady seemed rushed and no pleasantries . Asked for more milk which didn’t get . Meal in the evening was good . Sticky toffee sauce was more like weak caramel. Decided not to stay the night so returned home so can’t comment on breakfast. Staff serving meal v good . ”

“He turned up and the room was a state. Not cleaned. McDonald’s takeaway all over the place and it smelt. Window open etc. Awful condition. ”
