“The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. Nothing impressive at all. The staffs were not helpful on anything. We were asked by the front desk to go across the bridge to make booking at the hotel restaurant. ”

“There was an issue with payments going through as we used a third party. A lot of undue stress, having to sort it out for both stays when the emails were asking for payment again. Maintenance was needed to refit the handrail twice. The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. The room was clean.”

“Very nice stay at fantastic price ”

“Once we had found the entrance which isn't that well sign-posted (my only complaint), we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the room and the relative ease of parking (we only had to pay until 6pm and Sundays are free). Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise, given that the menu in the room only mentioned continental style but plentiful, good quality hot food was available. Finally, as we were visiting Halifax, the short walk to the train station was a bonus. Would……

“Stop over night, was great. We arrived late (11.30pm) after a wedding and check in was a breeze. We booked in to swim the filling morning no problem. Fabulous sized room, really spacious for a family of four. Great breakfast with lots of dairy and gluten free options available ”
