“It is a nice convenient hotel. Clean. Tea and coffee facilities were nice to settle down nicely on arrival and when I woke up in the morning. Mini refrigerator was handy to keep my leftover food in the refrigerator to eat in the morning. Comfortable table and internet. I give 4 star only as there was no toilet in the room and I hesitated to leave my room in the middle of the night.”

“Didn’t stay in the end. The owner wanted personal ID upfront via a picture When I questioned why he wanted my personal details and asked about GDPR rules he said if I want to cancel just cancel I tried to but it was too late so I lost my money ”

“Nice place, clean, mattress was not for me at all also takes deposit and then doesn't resond to messages acts like its a computer generated reply on whatsapp so costs an extra 100”

“We regularly stay at this hotel when visiting Huddersfield. It is our favourite hotel in the area . The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room is always beautifully clean. The served hot breakfast is fantastic and freshly cooked as opposed to a buffet style. The hotel has a warm and friendly feel and we highly recommend it. “Tried to check in after booking through Expedia only to be told that there was no booking in my name and they had no rooms available despite my booking a reference from Expedia and the money been taken from my account and which has still not been refunded to me. Very disappointed with both the Hotel and Expedia”

“Staff were rude when checking in, the rooms hadn’t been cleaned. There were ants all over the desk in one room, and rubbish on the floor. I don’t know if they are also long leasing out rooms, but some other ‘tenants’ were noisy until around 1am running up and down corridors and shouting. ”
