Overall everything was fine. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Carpet needs replaced it's in poor condition. Restaurant wait staff really slow. The food was good

Our Mexico trip.

We had a pleasant stay. It is off the beaten path, but not far from main street. McDonald's and Dunkin donuts close by. Also not far from Pulaski to the east, and Oswego to the west.

Get a little extra stimulation at the eis house

The place is haunted. Ringing bells in the night. Knocking on doors when no one is in the building. They recently had Syracuse paranormal there. They have video. Would I go back? Absolutely.. I'm not scared. I like this stuff. Great food and great alcohol. Owners are amazing. So besides the friendly ghosts it's a great place.

Arrived on a Sunday put in the code for our room and was mildly surprised with the room it had a patio that overlooked the river and it was like being in a small woods with all the trees around us. We were the only occupants in the motel for our first two days so it was very quiet. Easy access to everything in the area.

Easy check-in. Very quiet, safe area. Plenty of towels & bathroom toiletries. Included free Wi-Fi and full Dish network. The only complaint we have is that the room could use a larger tv. The one on the wall was quite tiny, but we were happy that it had all the channels that we needed.

Great location, very welcoming.

Room was super clean.Air conditioners worked great. Friendly staff, delicious food, great view for this nature lover. Downside: The mattress was lumpy and very saggy. Would love to come back in the Fall but barely slept and woke up with a sore back. Great place otherwise!

Great location. Be sure you call ahead for check-in....we didn't and found the place closed...owners returned call after a bit and let us in but it felt that we got lucky. Room was nice enough, beds very comfortable. The refrigerator did not work, and when we told owner nothing was done. Since the fridge didn't work we didn't cook and can't speak to the stove top. Attached bar/ restaurant is fun and friendly. Good enough food, definitely a local hang out and I liked meeting folks. It was definitely a step up from other places I have stayed in the area

Clean, quiet & reasonably priced. Would go back.

Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Nice that there is a bar and restaurant right on the property. Bed was VERY comfortable. Beautiful view of the river from the sliding glass doors that open to the private deck with table & chairs. Price is reasonable, room was very clean, but could use updating a bit. Heat register in bathroom was rusty as was the towel rack. Sliding glass doors in the back out to the 1st floor deck could not be locked, but this wasn't a high crime area so that did not worry me a lot (if my husband was not with me I probably would have been more concerned about it). Smoke Detector looked as if someone ripped it out of the ceiling—only dangling wires left. But, I would go back there again for the positives.

Nice place place and bedroom was spotless. However, when my son unrolled the foldout couch, the pillow cover was stained yellow and the sheets had red stains on them. Discounted $40 but son was left to sleep on a skinny couch and was uncomfortable after a long day. Disappointing.

EIS house is tucked away in the back fields in Mexico NY. The building is very unassuming and at first we weren’t sure w had the right location. It is part of a ‘catering hall, pub, restaurant’. You have to go into the restaurant and sign in with the owner. Code entry to the rooms. We stayed in a two bed room. The efficiency room is new, very clean, simple yet very comfortable. Beds and linens were cozy. Shower had amazing water pressure. Having the restaurant right there is convenient. There is a river that runs along the back of the property. Very pretty. The only thing I would have liked would be fresh coffee in the lobby as the complimentary coffee in the room was, well you know. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I’d stay there again.

The property was very crappy unfortunately, we thought it'd be nice from the photos but pics can sure be deceiving!! Other downside was our room smelled terrible like cat piss, very odd smell. I also didn't realize that no one is at the front desk past 10pm so she had to text us the information tonget into our room and we couldn't even find the room, very confusing. Luckily others who were still awake when we got there late at night helped us out!!

I stayed one night in Room2. It was well kept, nice and clean. A little bit worn, could use a refresh, but it was what I expected for about $100. I got a great night's sleep because it was really QUIET, which I appreciated. Live music from the bar was not at all an issue. The highlight for me was the shower head. Big with lots of pressure, and HOT. Overall a well deserved 4 star.

I don’t even know where to begin. The day of my check in I called the bar to make sure I was able to check into my room at 9pm. (Or I would have checked in around 3pm) the answer I received was “oh yeah we are a bar we will be open until 2am… just come up to the bar and we will give you your code”. She also verified my room number while on the phone. Fast forward to 9pm… I pull in and the entire place was SHUT DOWN. I had absolutely no way to get into my room. I called several times and left a message. I still have NEVERRRR received a call back from the Eis House. Luckily enough… I was able to check into my room because the codes on the doors to the rooms are one number off from the units. How safe!!!! When I entered the room the smoke detector was between the wall and the mini fridge, the wires were loose and hanging from the ceiling. I wiped off the surfaces in the room and the wipe was a black outline of my hand. The water pressure was close to zero. DO NOT STAY HERE. Not worth it. In any way shape or form. Worst experience ever.
