great place (but complicated)
The place and campus are great.
However, it is very complicated to find your way since there was no 'welcome packet' or explanation of where things were, how to access the pool/gym, getting an access pass.
The front desk of the building is separate from VRBO.
VRBO then connected me to "Miami Stays" company, but the actual contact was someone else who represented the owner. I had to communicate with three different groups/persons to get any information.
It took me three days to figure it all out.
Someone needs to explain to each renter how everything has a separate fob or cardpass to enter and exit and where things are. It is too complicated to put all the FOB/card pass issues in this reply.
Overall, the place is great. Just needs better 'welcome explanation' of things...and a front desk that helps renters instead of saying "that is not our issue."

Needs paint and bedding
The placed needed some remodeling or at least some painting. The furniture was cheap. So many scuff marks on the wall. The bedding was old and rough. The smallest pillows ever! At least standard pillows should have been on the bed.

It offers what it advertises: 5 star amenities and a gorgeous view of downtown Miami for a very good price.
The location is ideal and the apartment has lots of small conveniences for an extended stay. I'm particularly a big fan of the ice maker in the freezer, in-room washer/dryer, and a walk-in closet to store your luggage (and stocked with some extra toiletries for your stay).
My only major complaint is that the bed seems to sink or slope toward the headboard, making it a bit hard to get comfortable. The mattress itself is great, though. A couple other small things in the apartment show some wear as well, but nothing that takes away from what a fantastic deal this was. I will definitely be on the look out for this property the next time I visit Miami. Highly recommended.
