Unfortunately would not recommend.

I would love to rate our stay a 5/5 but I cannot. We were not warned of the construction right outside our balcony that took place from 9-7pm everyday. It was very disruptive with the constant noise of jackhammers, hammering, saws etc. When I contacted the host about it they apologized and said they were unaware that the construction had started up again and did not seem to care about this issue. It was extremely disruptive and could be heard both inside and outside. When staying at a nice place like the Alexander I expected more. The balcony furniture consisted of a broken rocking chair, one wicker chair and two folding chairs that were extremely cheap. On the plus side the Alexander was gorgeous and the staff were all super nice. The pools, shops, café and location were all great as well. I would definitely come back to the Alexander resort but I am sorry to say I would not stay with this host again.
