“The room was extremely clean and the staff were WONDERFUL!! shoutout to Mike at the frost desk for working every day that we stayed and was always there to greet us every morning at breakfast and when we returned. He was so helpful and the breakfast staff kept everything so stocked and fresh. Beautiful room and beautiful location. I had a last minute change of travel plans and they were able to accommodate me! 10/10”

“We had a lovely stay over several days. Breakfast was meh. The place is not fancy. But the location is great--a quiet spot on the water. The room was spacious, and the balcony was such a nice amenity. The hotel is in a rural, residential area, so bring food before heading out. There is a seafood restaurant next door, but it is closed certain days of the week. It is a bit of a drive to other restaurants or grocery stores. But that was part of the appeal. We loved being in a quiet spot to just……

“The room was spacious, and the tall ceilings made it appear even larger. We had our Bernese with us, and she enjoyed the extra space in the room. There were plenty of outdoor areas for her to zoom around throughout the day. The staff was friendly, and the surrounding area was quiet. Random - The water pressure was so strong, it was nice to have in the shower but made quite a mess in the sink. ”

“Everything about the Swanendele Inn was exceptional: the location, the accommodations, the facilities, the decor, the hosts, and, not least, the breakfast. In fact, you could spend several days just exploring the remarkable antiques and artifacts around the place. However, what made the strongest impression was the fiery glow of dawn though the pine trees outside our balcony every morning in the Margeret Brent suite. Rhododaktylos, "The rosy-fingered dawn": I never understood the true meaning……
