If you are looking for a relaxing, rustic stay that takes you back to coming up north as a kid..this place is for you. The rooms were clean, the place was quiet, pet-friendly as well!

Loved the cabin theme, the staff were amazing, and the property was well kept. The room was more than adequate, in fact it was very comfortable! We Loved our stay and hope to stay again next year! We did not get to take advantage of the water park, and hope to next year. Honestly, this hotel is well worth the stay! I can't say enough good about them!

The motel was fine. Nothing was bad or good. I saw one worker while I was there. She was talking to another client so I went downstairs to talk to her about extending my stay by a night. She said that would not be a problem and that she would just charge my card another day. Everything else was done on-line. My room was fine, but my mattress seemed worn out. I've always enjoyed the location of the motel, being right on the main road and on the channel across the road from Lake Ruth!

It was a budget motel. Sheets were clean, and I was grateful I wasn't paying $150+ a night somewhere else. The view was great, the smell a bit musty, and the water hot after running a few minutes.

It was very difficult to get a hold of the staff because on the website it states you have to be checked in before midnight. After searching for a phone number that was not disconnected i finally got inContact with someone and they said how to get in the room and check in after was fine. The bathroom was extremely small but for two nights it was fine but for longer stays may be annoying. Would definitely recommend more outlets as well.

WiFi and TV didn’t work. Had to call owners to get another persons dog inside after being left out for an hour barking nonstop. Not much around the location. Just seemed a bit pricey for the quality.

Couldn’t see the lake unless you walked across a busy road. Not a lot of area for dogs but they did have bags for pet food waste. Not a place I would recommend for a long stay just an overnighter.

It was hard to find anybody to help check in or to report problems. No one answered the phone numbers listed on the sign or written on the white board at the front door. (Voicemail was full and therefore i couldn't leave a message. ) When I could find someone to talk to, they were friendly and helpful, but did not look professional (they dressed in pajamas or no shirts). I did like the location and the rustic decor of the rooms.

I'm actually at the Carla's Inn. It's the nicest roadside motel I've ever been to. The owners are very nice people and made room for me when I needed it. If I ever came back to the area I would definetly stay here again.
