「The staff were very helpful. My personal opinion is that the mattress needed to be replaced. It was topped with a mattress topper which made the bed super soft. The headboard was very loose as well. The scones were delicious and over all facilities were nice.」

「The room itself was like a strip motel, but clean, fairly quiet, even though next to the road and not worth the money. The grounds were terrible. White fences were in desperate need of a paint job, leaves and debris everywhere and the breakfast was a walk to get to and basic continental. And they use an antiquated key system, although does have a deadbolt.」

「Our stay at Elmrock was exactly what we needed to get out of town and have many of the beautiful sites of Ulster County available nearby. The House we rented from them was beautifully kept. The Breakfasts were great ant the conversation with others made for nice mornings. ON a VERY hot July 4th Weekend the home was cool and comfortable! Would recommend the Inn highly.」

「The Wachapreague Inn is a quaint, local treasure that is quiet and clean. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The room was clean, the beds were soft, and they have great hot water! The town itself is very small and quiet. We were only in town for one night, but we hope to come back another time to stay longer and explore.」

「It is an old, charming inn with winding stairs and hallways. The room was very nice sized, the bed comfortable, had good light, and a modernized attached bath. Do not compare it to a modern luxury hotel. The breakfast was great and the restaurant had great food for dinner. Location perfect-right across from the lake and easy walk into town. All the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Loved it!」
