“Location was perfect for Welshpool. Charlie was welcoming, efficient and friendly. We had lunch when we arrived. The food was excellent and inexpensive. Breakfast was not as good as the staff member was inattentive. I chose from a varied menus of cooked breakfast scrambled egg on toast which was served badly cooked and dry on dry toast. There was also a selection of cereals and juices to choose from. The room was small but well decorated and comfortable with a bright and clean en suite. The bar……

“I absolutely loved this hotel. The only thing was having to walk from their car park to the hotel which wasn’t very well signed but in all fairness was I could have read about this before checking in. Staff were amazing and so very friendly. They were happy to help and offer advice throughout the stay. Dinner and breakfast was lovely. Cocktails great and overall a beautiful stay - if I could have stayed an extra night I would have done. Our room was up in the rafters and was superb. A twin……
