This home has a charming and cozy 1950s feel. We appreciated the original features of the home. We also appreciated that the owners did invest in updated and energy efficient windows. The picture window views were incredible!

We were in Newport for a wedding and this property was ideal for the weekend. Everything was as described and the host was extremely responsive! Would recommend to anyone traveling to Newport.

This was a great rental for our stay in Newport! Although it might look far from downtown Newport, it was less than a 10 minute drive to the city center. Having a lockbox for the key was great when staying with a couple friends we could leave the key for each other. I would recommend adding a full length mirror to the property if possible, we would’ve liked to have one while getting ready for a friend’s wedding.

Small simple home. Musty smell when we arrived. Doors all stick and door knobs need fixing. WiFi worked fine. Single TV (would have been nicer if more than one when you have a family). Location is good as it is close to everything. It was OK.

Overall house was clean and as advertised. However, upon arrival we were unable to connect with the WIFI or get the TV to work. I reached out both by phone and email and no one responded the entire stay. We were eventually able to connect after a friend helped us out. Only one lamp in living room with no overhead lighting so rather dark. Lamp in one bedroom broken.

Neat house and a huge back yard! We didn’t utilize the back yard too much because we came during a heat wave. Which brings the only downside, there is no air conditioning but they did have a window unit that helped a little. Got a few fans and that helped more. Overall, good location and a nice stay.

We spend a weekend for the Newport Folk Festival with my family (6 adults). The location is perfect, close to the beach and not far from downtown. The house is not fancy but it was everything we needed for our stay! Thanks

Great location, but if it's hot... bring fans.. I had to go out and buy fans .. there is a stand alone portable air conditioner, but it is not made to cool a house. Some other minor things but in general , considering the location and you stay inside the house is not why you are there.... It's clean, it's close to everything... so I give it 4 stars...
