New Orleans Miguez Park Hotels

"This was by far the worse stay I HAVE EVER HAD. Below are some of my issues. These after spending most of the day helping my daughter move out of her college apartment. Got to hotel late that evening around 10 pm. Checked in and went to the room. Disinfected like normal. Turned pillow over to spray and a bug is crawling on the back of the pillow. Went to front desk complained. And was given another horrible room. First the ac unit was unusually loud and made a knocking sound. Second, flying insects in bathroom. Not mosquitoes but small insects (2) that look like a microscopic bat. Didn't report because afraid would be given an even worse room. This place is not worth staying. Run Run Run. If we were not sooo tired, we would have definitely gone somewhere else. Of course we slept with one eye open. Out of there first thing in the morning. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!!!"

"Breakfast was decent, not an elaborate spread, but had the regular items you expect from a hotel. I believe we met the owner, he didn't introduce himself, but he was very caring about everyone who was in the dining hall. He spoke with everyone, asked if they needed anything, and greeted us with a nice day ahead. Very genuine."

"Room was filthy. Hall were filthy. Literal trash all up and down the halls. A slime on the floor in my room. No shower curtain. Filth on the walls of my room. Bad moldy musty smell. Mildew growing on the glass in all the artwork. Mismatched curtains. Hair and filth in tub and in bathroom."

"The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean, and spacious The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The airport shuttle was quick and curtious. A little far from downtown, but I would stay there again without hesitation."
