Peaceful and Comfortable

Edgewood was exactly as expected. The setting was peaceful and quiet while still convenient to local places like Cooperstown and Ommegang. We stayed with a group of friends and the house was exactly the right size with all the amenities we needed, including plenty of sleeping space, lots of bathrooms and a large, open kitchen, eating area and living room. We would definitely stay again.

Cooperstown was a Home Run Trip

We really enjoyed our stay here. We gathered a group of friends to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and it was the perfect place for everyone to get together and hang. It is also a reasonable distance. The location is in the countryside and was beautiful. This helped us connect without the distraction of phones. We also loved the space. The host was also very welcoming and very communicative when we needed. Loved it. We will be considering staying again when we come back to the area.

This place is a gem!

This place is a gem! Mary and Jon have created the perfect space for friends and families to gather. We loved the open floor plan that allowed our large group to be comfortable and connected while preparing food, watching a slideshow on the TV, and playing a game at the long dining room table. The kitchen was a delight to work in with lots of counter space and gorgeous cabinetry and all of the amenities one could want for a cooking project including a variety of dishes, silverware, glasses, measuring utensils, pots and pans, baking pans, spices, condiments, a Keurig, a coffee maker, blender, and I think I even saw an Instant Pot. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. Mary was a delight to work with. In addition to being very responsive and answering lots of questions, she brought me onions when I mentioned needing to go to the store to get some! She was also very accommodating with the timing of when we arrived and checked out. What a delightful experience.

Fantastic Stay Near Dreams Park

Thank you to Mary and Jon for their hospitality in their Edgewood estate near Cooperstown Dream Park. Everything was incredible from personal welcome to space to accommodations to serene property. We will refer to friends coming next year for the special baseball experience!

Edgewood is Fabulous

Look no further than Edgewood during your next stay in Cooperstown! Our son was at Dreams Park for the week, and we stayed at Edgewood. We couldn’t have been happier. The game room was awesome - the kids loved playing ping pong! The front yard was perfect for endless wiffle ball games. The kids loved catching frogs in the pond and making s’mores by the campfire. The kitchen has all the cookware and utensils you could possibly need, and the bedrooms were super comfortable. An easy 10 minute drive to Dreams Park, 10-15 to Cooperstown village - truly the perfect peaceful location. The hosts were kind, accessible, and accommodating. Trust me, Edgewood is great option for your family/group!

It was absolutely wonderful.

I highly recommend this property if you're coming to stay in Cooperstown. The house was absolutely adorable, very clean and had everything you would need. It was only aabout a 10 min drive to Dreams Park. The host Mary was wonderful as well. She was extremely responsive, met us to greet us at checking and gave us great recommendations for places to eat.

There are 3 full bathrooms and everyone had their own space. But the living area was perfect - open, yet cozy. The kids had a blast in the game room, and catching and releasing frogs in the pond. It was a 10-13 minute drive to the dreams park, which was perfect. And we woke in the morning to the sound of the cows down the road :) The owners are wonderful - everything you need is there! Towels, sheets, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and all paper goods. They were just a text away with any questions or issues (there were none!) I highly recommend this home for your next visit to Cooperstown!
