「Good affordable motel. Plenty of parking. Spacious room. A/C worked fine. Everything that’s necessary is available. No coffee machine in the room but you can get coffee (not the best quality though) and hot water at the motel office nearby. One minor issue: GPS leads you to the back of the hotel. Would be good to emphasize that the turn to China Buffet should be taken (maybe I missed it somewhere in the description).」

The staff at both check in and at the restaurant was very pleasant and helpful. Was not cheap but was a lot of room for the money. 「We were greeted by the owners, John and Linda and given a tour and history of the building. The room that we stayed in was very clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and modern. 「The rooms are very basic, but we had everything we needed for our stay. A really nice surprise was how comfortable the beds were. The motel is close to hiking trails. The parking lot for hiking Stairway to Heaven was a 2 minute drive from the motel. If you stay here in the winter, it is only a 5 minute drive from Mountain Creek ski resort. We would stay here again.」
