“We stayed here after a Kansas State football game because there was nothing else available. The negatives: the motel is extremely outdated, there are trains traveling through close by in the middle of the night, the bedspread had cigarette burns in it, no shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer, no hand towels, the ceiling light fixtures were disgusting, hardly any electrical outlets. The positives: no bed bugs, the bathroom and floors overall were clean, shower water was hot.”

“Everything we needed and then some was provided. Our stay was during Sub-Zero temperatures accompanied by snow and ice. We were quite comfortable, and really enjoyed the fireplace. We made good use of the kitchen, which was very well stocked with utensils, cutlery, and cookware of every description. “Awesome cabin, great restaurant, comfy beds and couches,fireplace helped keep the place warm, balconies had excellent view of the lake, basement was a little cold but other than that great, full kitchen with a sprayer in the sink with excellent water pressure. “I rented this house to host Thanksgiving for my son and a bunch of guys in his unit at Ft Riley that couldn’t go home. The house isn’t as updated as you would think, but it was clean and comfortable and the views are breathtaking. I did have to leave a day early to stay closer to the airport. The house is located quite a way from town on back roads that have some very steep hills and quite a bit of snow came in on Saturday. You almost feel like you are driving in the mountains. I would……
