"Plus qu'un séjour, c'est une formidable rencontre avec Salvatore et Paola. Accueil irréprochable, chaleureux et d'une générosité sans pareil. Merci pour toutes les attentions quotidiennes, les conseils, et ce repas partagé avant notre départ :) La maison est très propre, fonctionnelle. Tout est mis à notre disposition pour passer un bon séjour. La piscine entièrement rénovée est juste formidable, avec son tobogan, bouée et ballon... elle a fait le bonheur des enfants ... et des parents aussi...

"It was beautiful, however weather was a bit cold and we expected to be warmer. You need a car for sure in this area as it is not close to anything. Carmelita was always accessible and helpful. It also needs some mirrors for ladies. Otherwise beautiful."

"Im not sure how to describe this place. The view is unreal, te pictures dont do it justice. The pool is hjge, gardens spotless. Close by access to the sea which was stunning. The main thing i still talk about is the quality of finish and the fixtures in the villa. Everything has been done to the highest standard and just makes staying here a calm oasis in Sicily! The app to control many things worked well and my 11 year old son loved it. He described it as a villa James Bond would stay...

"Truly a spectacular spot. From the dining room window, you can see out over the sea, and from the terrace, a wonderful view of Mt Etna, and Catania beneath in its shadow. The apartment is modestly furnished, has comfortable beds, and is whisper quiet at night. Perfect place for a restful sleep. The beach below is a mix of sand and rock....and ia beautiful. "We drove from Palermo to Villa Gavetta stopping in Enna on the way over. We were in contact with Angela the owner who gave us detailed directions. The villa is secluded and a little remote, so we were organised when it came to shopping for food. The Villa itself is beautiful. very tastefully decorated, spacious, super clean and very, very well equipped. The photos do not really do justice to the reality. Our nearest neighbour was a herd of goats wearing bells which tinkled from the distance...

The woman went out of her way to make arrangements for us during our stay, above and beyond what any normal hotel proprietor would do. Despite our language barrier, she was SO nice. The location is unfortunately in the middle of an industrial zone which makes it less convenient unless you have a car. "

"Beautiful resort with plenty to do. We had glorious weather and lived the pool areas and multiple access to the sea. Gym was great and we enjoyed all the dining options. We opted to to the wine tasting which was great - met some lovely people and the staff were great. "

"This place is fancy! We needed an overnight with parking near Syracuse but away from the traffic of Catania. This option came up at a reasonable price. It was a bit of a waste for us to leave the next morning without enjoying some of the grounds and the pool, but who knew! The included buffet breakfast was resplendent with choices."

"My husband, my friends and I had a beautiful stay at this charming villa overlooking the sea! We even got to see Mt. Etna erupting one morning from the patios and gardens! Everything went very smoothly from check-in to check-out. We even opted in to a beautiful dinner prepared for our group after a long day trip up Mt. Etna and the several-course meal was divine, ending with a magnificent homemade tiramisu! I will be recommending this place to friends and family who have already started asking where I found it! "

"Okay, I know everyone says this, but it is RIGHT by the airport and sooo loud. Also, they do play loud music on the beach till 1 am. The beds are HORRIBLY uncomfortable. The pillow is even worse. We had about half a roll of cheap toilet paper which was all used before we even went to sleep. No extra. Office closed. Yuck! The towel bars are propped on the wall, broken.It is soo dirty because it is on the beach. Nice sand beach though. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. The beach is extremely dirty, litter everywhere. This is the definition of a no frills place to sleep. Way overpriced for what it was. The front desk lady is nice and helpful though."
