"We planned this vacation around our dog, as this was our first real vacation with her. That said, the house with its fenced in backyard was the perfect place to return to after chasing the waves all day! What is not shown in the photos is the brand new tall white privacy fence around the property replaces the shorter chain link in the listing photos. It provided great privacy and security. We had breakfast each morning under the gazebo to start our day. The house provided everything we needed. It was the perfect size for the two of us with the dog. Off-street parking is nice too. Cape May relaxes their dog rules after September 15, so as long as you keep them leashed and clean up after them, your pet should be welcome, even in restaurants offering outdoor patio dining."

"We chose this VRBO because it was accommodating to six women "of a certain age" with a little dog (who was on her first girls' trip). It has five bedrooms, three full baths, and a fenced-in yard with a screened-in porch. The house is in the VIllas community, which is a few walkable blocks off the Delaware Bay. We enjoyed the open space to sit, knit, talk, relax, and eat. Driving to West Cape May was a breeze, and the short distance allowed us to visit the restaurants and wineries in the area -- we particularly enjoyed the Cape May Winery, Turdo, and Willow Creek. We also discovered Fleck's Ice Cream in Villas, which is a little gem with a baseball-themed menu. Meadow enjoyed chasing rabbits in the back yard -- they always got away -- so she was happy. Everything made for a wonderful gathering! At first, we didn't have wine glasses, so I sent a message -- soon after, there was a Wal*Mart bag at the front door with all missing items!"

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, and truly relaxing home away from home!"
