“We had a fantastic stay at this property. It was the perfect location for what we needed, clean and well equipped.”

“Was great place for my adult daughter and I to stay as we each had a room. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed the conveniences in the area, within walking distance.”

“We stayed for 3 nights at the dark horse. Brittany was quick to reply to any questions I had. The beds were very comfortable. The suite was spacious. The shower has a gap at the bottom so at times the bath mat would get saturatrd causing my feet and floor to be wet. There was an extra bath mat to use so it was no big deal.Overall very good place to stay. We enjoyed our time and would come back again.”

“Great day easy check-in clean well equipped suite great location”

“Beautiful, spacious, clean, stylish. Everything you need. Full, well equipped kitchen. Lovely deck space. Gas fireplace. Super comfy bed. Absolutely perfect!”

“When were welcomed with soft lighting and zen music playing on the TV when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had most of what we needed for the night. The only issue was the bbq wasn't operational, so we pivoted our dinner plans.”

“Perfect location to enjoy the Harbour and walk to shops and restaurants. Recommend the bakery and the Cook and Butcher for dinner. Waterfront view great food and popular with guests and locals. Make sure to book a reservation.”

“A really nice suite!”

“Dreamy, clean, bright, thoughtful and worth your money.”

“Loved our stay here - we wished we could have stayed for more than one night! Thanks for being a great host!”

“We loved the view and how clean the property was. Kathy was very accommodating for my partner and I.”

“Great property offered by owners who care.”

The grounds were run down and when we tried to contact her there was no wifi or cell coverage at that remote location. Because of poor communication and the run down appearance of the place we decided to stay elsewhere.”

“Cannot say enough about how much we love this place. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Bear Mountain getaway. The check in was smooth. The room was incredible. The environment was outstanding. We had a rough schedule because of what we ended up doing there but at night we were at ease. Rested well then move onto next day of another adventure. We are so grateful that we chose this place to rest.”

“The location was stunning, very private as promised. BUT, this location is not for the faint of heart. It’s not very clean, the floors hadn’t been vacuumed or swept when we arrived, my husband had to spend 20 minutes with scissors removing all the hair from the vacuum before it could actually turn to pick anything up. He spent another 20 minutes clearing the bathroom sink drain or the water would just sit in the sink. There was mouse poop in every corner, window sill, counter top. It is a……
