「This site is an absolute Jem!! Was there Oct31 to Nov3. was easy to park and the Barn was amazing!! Ben the host was accommodating and very helpful. The grounds were immaculate and the fire ring and chairs made for an amazing view of the night sky!! Not far from Penn State also. Lots of cool things locally. Eagle State park was awesome. 「We stayed here for Bucknell Parent's Weekend with our three younger children and one friend (ages 9-17). The home is spacious and clean and is located directly across from the main campground hall and office. It is between a 15-20 minute drive to Bucknell - on local roads. The house has the basics, including linens, which was a nice bonus for a short weekend stay. The owner/manager was communicative and helpful. 」

「We stayed in a cabin so my comments only apply to our experience there., The property is very pretty, there is a pond or two, a shuffleboard course, a mini golf course and a playground or two. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there (late Sept). The two small issues that I would bring up are 1) the showers seem to be either completely hot or cold but nothing in between and 2) mattresses in the cabins are a bit stiff. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. 」

「The cabin is very spacious yest still cozy. There is plenty of room for relaxing and dining. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a food processor, mixer, lots of dishes and silverware. 「Wish we could stay longer to enjoy the fabulous exterior. Inside was everything we needed for a great weekend. Our goal was hiking and this location did not disappoint. If you are looking for outdoor fun in the hot or cold weather this is IT! Proximity to any and every outdoor activity is our top recommendation. Our host was very responsive, so important when you mostly off the grid. But internet at the place was solid. FYI our GPS led us to 244 instead of 231 Poe Valley Road.」
