Silver Beach Hotel

"Excellent staff and very helpful. There is a small restaurant and bar on-site, plus walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and the beach. The only issues we came across was that one of rooms didn’t have a microwave and one did, the remote to the tv didn’t work and the other rooms toilet had to be fixed bc of the handle. Also only one elevator was working. We would stay again because the staff was very helpful and approachable. Plus the location to downtown and price is very affordable."

"This a clean, basic hotel that seems geared for longer term stays. We were just there for 3 days. The front desk is only manned from 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. However, there was someone on call to check us in for our late arrival when we arrived. The room was clean and provided what we needed, though amenities are very limited."

"The stay was fine for what we needed. The most random thing was that the staff came in and refolded our towels, but didn't touch anything else. Not empty the trash can, remake the bed, nothing."

"This was the perfect place for a quick 2 night mini-honeymoon after our wedding. The grounds and River House were beautifully kept. We rented a little EV cart to explore and it was the best decision, we really loved roaming around through the woods and taking in the beautiful scenery. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, the staff was very kind and helpful. My only wish is that there were options onsite for dinner and drinks at the cute little bar, but I understand the demand is likely not high enough for a Sunday/Monday evening stay, so it makes sense. Highly recommend the Morris Estate, would love to come back and stay with a few other couples!"
