This house was perfect for our 6 adults and 3 young children! The place was clean. The open floor plan was perfect for keeping an eye on the little ones. We loved the screened in porch! It was an easy walk to the water front and there was a foot rinse thingy to rinse of the sand from your feet near the stairs going to the front door. Of all the places we have rented over the years, this is probably my favorite!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying in Broadkill Beach for many years and this is the first time we stayed in this house. I was a bit concerned about this place since there were no recent reviews. However, it did not disappoint. The house was clean and maintained and met all of our basic requirements for our stay. The layout and floor plan was great for our small family and for the most part, the house was well stocked with all of the items needed for our stay. We had a great week of beach weather and the DFM (**** Fly Meter) was relatively low all week. We would definitely stay here again, but may need a larger place as our family continues to grow. Perfect for 6 adults and 2 kids.

Not only was there every small and large item in the kitchen but the quality was unexpected. The house also had 2 stand up boards and 2 kayaks.Wow!The house was clean and well maintained. The owners obviously take pride in their home and don't mind sharing with guests.Very pleased with everything and will not hesitate to rent again.

Beautiful house by the beach

Our family had a fantastic vacation at this beautiful house on a quiet street a very short walk from the beach. The main living area is spacious with tons of natural light and gorgeous views in every direction. There is a wonderful screened porch perfect for relaxing.

Great Relaxing vacation

Well stocked, cute beach house with plenty of room for family. Easy walk to beach. Too far to drag our kayaks to launch directly into Bay, but lots of nearby options for easier launching of kayaks. Enjoyed morning paddles and bike rides with relaxing afternoons on the beach or playing games on screened in porch. Excellent week away!

Fun Time

We always enjoy our time at Broadkill Beach. Carl is easy to get in touch with and responsive if something pops up. We would definitely be interested in staying in the house again next year.

Love broadkill beach!

Very nice house -decorated super cool & great layout for family activities & naps! Especially loved the screened in back porch for seafood feasts in the evening (Lewes Fishhouse) and morning coffee after early walks on the beach (take & use bug spray EVERY time you walk out side - those flies & mosquitos mean business at this time of the year!) Terrific long dining table & lots of chairs for games. Owners even thoughtfully provided folding tables for puzzles If needed. Only negative - great house deserves a great spring cleaning & general house cleaning not as complete as we have come to expect. But all in all a great place to bring your family. Thank you!

Fabulous house at the beach!

The house was perfect for our family. The house was kid friendly and there was plenty of space to play. We enjoyed grilling to on the deck most nights. There were beautiful ocean views from the living room and the beach was just a short walk away. The bedrooms were really comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could need. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house, lots of space

We really enjoyed all the room to spread out, and the kids loved that the house had tons of books and puzzles. It had everything we needed, including plenty of room for dinner both inside and out on the balcony. Wish we could have stayed even longer.
