“The room was clean, and I had no issues with the check-in or check-out process. However, the kitchen was a major disappointment. It was not well equipped, with no paper towels and very limited cookware and utensils. There was also no dishwasher. It made me wonder whether guests are actually expected to use the kitchen. Another issue was the mosquitoes. The room was packed with mosquitoes, and a mosquito coil was provided. However, the stand needed to safely use the coil was missing. Without……

“The Sandpiper Cottage was perfect for our time on Prince Edward Island. We walked to Avonlea Village for dinner and ice cream, and we also walked to Green Gables Heritage Place and did the full walking tour of all the LM Montgomery sites. This was the perfect location for doing all things Anne. The cottage was lovely, clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. It was next to the street, but we did not have an issue with street noise. Scarlet was very responsive and always answered my questions……

“Perfect little getaway cabin. I wanted my husband and daughter to really experience the peaceful joys of PEI, and this sweet little cottage was perfect. It had everything we needed to relax, prepare meals, get a good night’s sleep. Our host was wonderful, very attentive, friendly and helpful without ever being overbearing or invasive. The location was wonderful - quick drive to the beach, beautiful farm roads full of scenery! The property was completely hygienic, but could use a good dusting……

“The location was great, next to the beach and sports fields. The apartment was decorated nice but don't let the pictures in the ads fool you because but it's old and smells terrible, very musty. I immediately started looking for somewhere else to stay when I checked in because of the smell but there was nothing else available. The host let me know that her big dehumidifier had broken and there was a replacement on the way but it took until day 3 to get the replacement and the new one definitely……

“My family really enjoyed this cottage! Its very roomy, and close to everything. The cottage was very clean, modern, and felt like we were right at home! * Our only negative would be that the wifi was extremely slow so it was hard to connect the TV streaming services and use our phones. We will definitely be back! Our favorite spot we've stayed in cavendish yet!”
