"Lovely setting, really helpful staff. The room itself was fantatsic and had every amenity you might expect. Unfortunately let down by a usable, but tired bath room. We also drank and ate in the pub which was really nice and good value."

"I had booked this room for the convenience of having food heating facilities to give me some flexibility for meals, compared to a standard hotel room. The check-in was smooth and I was made to feel welcome through by staff during my stay. Highlights: 1. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. 2. The location is ideal for visiting many Cotswolds areas. 3. Conveniently next to a pub/restaurant. 4. Extremely helpful online guest information provided in advance. 5. Complimentary guest parking. Things that could be improved: 1. In the room that I booked the shower was leaking water on the floor, near to the loo. 2. Cleanliness of certain areas/items: plates with what appears to be food particles/marks in the cupboard, mould on shower hose, dust on TV. 3. Placement of microwave: so as to be accessible for various potential future guests. I am average height and it was somewhat difficult to reach the microwave and remove hot food. If it was placed at a lower height or even on the counter (if possible) it would be more accessible and safer to use. Overall, the lovely staff and the other attributes of the booking (which I have outlined above) were the highlight. Hopefully the minor things to improve, if possible to action, would make this room a perfect stay in the Cotswolds."

"The setting in a historic mill was fabulous , full of charm and character. The sound of the water was relaxing and atmospheric. Staff were helpful and polite and our room was huge and comfortable though would have preferred to be in the main building and certainly not underground as we were in room 30. It was disappointing that a cooked breakfast wasn’t available until the third day and we hadn’t been told this in advance - unclear communication! We’ve been assured that Expedia will refund us £60 ."

"This is a lovely cottage in a great little town with lots of amenities and instant access to the beautiful Cotswolds. The BIG caveat is that during nesting season the swallows are almost in the attic bedroom with you, causing significant sleep disturbance. Prepare for this with great earplugs, and you’ll be fine. Sadly this is not mentioned in the marketing, but is well signposted in the cottage. For this reason, the comfort for our stay was very poor."
