“Located on a hill in an old mining town called Jerome this hotel is like stepping back in time. It’s above the Clinkscale Restaurant (which I highly recommend!). Once you check in (inside the restaurant), there is a separate entrance to the upstair rooms. Open the door and immediately feel transported to another era (no elevator here); but the staff will gladly assist you with your luggage. Read the room description carefully as not all of the rooms have a private bathroom. Parking in Jerome is……

“We had a great stay at the Tavern. One of the reasons we booked was because of the breakfast at la Crema. We were a little dissappointed that our Easter breakfast basket did not have any pastries from la crema. The staff was great as well as we left something behind and appreciated that they found the item and left it at the front desk. We actually like staying at the Tavern rather than Sedona-the shops are quaint and the restaurants are much better than Sedona!”

“My family (2 adults 2 children) and I stayed at the Cottonwood Best Western hotel during our Spring Break (April 6-10). We loved the convenience of the location being only a short drive (about 25 minutes and no traffic) to Uptown Sedona. The included free breakfast was definitely one of the factors we took into consideration when choosing our lodging and we’re glad we chose this hotel! “The unit is new, clean and honestly pretty spacious! But the only downside is the internet is painfully slow even when paying for it, i was needing to do some work while staying here and had to go offsite to get any decent connection. Otherwise this place is great”

“The kitchen was well equipped, beds and room were clean and spacious, and just loved the free night events that were taking place while we were there. The slideshow by a local talented photographer was amazing! The only small issue was location of the bathroom. It was just annoying to get to with the bathroom door blocking its entrance.”
