We booked this house for the weekend. We got married at Lake Anna this weekend and the house was super close to the venue. It had plenty of space for us and our out of town family. 10/10 recommend

Holy great house, Batman!

Our group of 11 ended up at the BatCave as part of a last-minute change of venues as we were supposed to have gone to Asheville. Many thanks to Vacasa for being flexible with our booking given the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene. What a fantastic house. The owners thought of everything, down to the smallest touches. It's the perfect house for a large group with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms as well as multiple places to gather. There was the spacious kitchen, the fire pit, the giant couch big enough for us all to watch football games together, the pool table and air hockey and even a room dedicated to selfie-taking complete with props and backdrops. The decor was sleek and contemporary with architectural details and eclectic artwork displayed throughout. While we did venture out to explore local breweries, we could have easily stayed at the house all weekend and been thoroughly entertained. 5 stars!!

We rented this property for a large family gathering and while the layout and size of the house worked well for our group, the experience overall was disappointing and frustrating.First and foremost, the private pool—which was one of the main reasons we chose this property—was completely unusable during our stay. It was filthy when we arrived, and even after we contacted the host and they sent someone to clean it, the pool remained in terrible condition. We were told we would not be able to use it during our stay. We had explicitly confirmed the pool would be available and ready prior to booking. The host offered a maximum of 300 in compensation, citing access to a nearby community pool as an alternative—which completely misses the point. We booked this house for the private pool, and its condition made a significant part of our stay a letdown.Beyond the pool, the house was not adequately stocked to support the number of guests it claims to accommodate. There were no beach or pool towels provided, and the kitchen lacked enough cups, plates, and other essentials for a group of our size. For a home advertised as suitable for large gatherings, this was a basic expectation that went unmet.The interior was moderately clean—not terrible, but certainly not spotless or hotel-level. Combined with the lack of preparation and the unresolved pool issue, it felt like guest experience was not a priority.This property has potential, but wouldn’t recommend it.
