「We chose this property because it had good reviews and it was the closest to the Rocker B Ranch. They had 1 King room left with a pull-out couch. This property is very old and I know this is a small town but at some point you have to start updating some things. Front desk personnel is nice but no one looked the part of being at work. No RedLion/Sonesta shirt or any type of work wear. Staff was in sweat pants, jeans, or basically whatever. Management should take a little more pride in this...

「Dated..overwhelming musty/mold smell in halls..rooms slightly better. Luke warm water. Overall a dirty/grungy feel. Double charged for a room that are still not resolved and refunded. Staff was nice enough—but 💯would not stay again.」

「This property is in the process of owner transition to La Quinta. It was lacking in furnishings as shown on the website, no amenities at all except shampoo, the room was clean enough but not up to our standards. The only reason we chose to stay here was because our original hotel had a maintenance disaster the day before we were to arrive and we were forced to find what was available in Mineral Wells. I hope the new owner upgrades this property since I won't stay there again.」

「While I understand this was a cheap motel, there were a few things I couldn’t get past. The exterior was horrible with tripping hazards that look to have been there for some time. The “residents”. The room looked like they had updated it but left unfinished. Missing trim. Dirty caulking. Patches on the walls. Door not closing all the way (but secure) and the bugs.」
