“Was very good love it for our family of 5”

“Thank you for a wonderful stay! Everything was spotlessly clean, the property was perfectly located for trail riding and other exploration of the area, and the layout and beautiful location of the cabins along the creek was relaxing and gave our extended family (13 people ages 10-78) plenty of together time and room to spread out when needed. My mom, who has limited mobility, would have appreciated some more accessible features, like lower beds and grab bars in the shower (although the shower……

“We came into the area for the Haltfield and McCoy Half Marathon. It was conveniently located to the race finish and the packet pickup. Otherwise, it would have been an hour drive from Pikeville or Logan, WV. It was charming and just perfect for our needs. The bonus was allowing dogs to stay on the premises. The train didn’t bother us at all.”

“We’ve been coming to HMT for about 6 years. The house was great. Clean. Well maintained. Host was readily available for any and all questions. Self check in. Love the central location between all of our normal trails. I gave it a 4 star over all because although it had free wifi there was no cellular service. For some of our crew it was difficult to keep in touch with family. The other issue was the couches were too low for our crew. I know they change to beds but sitting in them was difficult……
