Overall a great hotel let down by a couple of minor points in the spa gym. I couldn't find a single locker door that would lock and the water was off while work was being done on the system. The Stable was a fantastic stay, really clean and the hosts were really welcoming. The Stables is secluded but well worth the drive to it. It was so quiet and peaceful and the log fire a really welcome bonus that made for a very cosy stay.

The cabin is situated in the most beautiful and peaceful area. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the cabin really let it down. We bought a full shop on the way to check in, but we couldn’t use the oven as all the numbers had worn off around the dials. A lot of food and money wasted, which is frustrating ...
