Beach was not too crowded like down the road in destin. Building is always kept up and organized. The only thing I would like to see is beach chair service included with our rental like other locations we have stayed at.

We've stayed in a number of different units in Sandestin and this one was as good as any of them. Also, Westinds as a whole is an extremely nice building. Beyond clean and the complex has everything. Would recommend this unit to anyone.

We had a very minor issue with one of the toilets and it was fixed right away. The staff at My Vacation Haven was extremely helpful and we were amazed how clean the resort was kept. I've been in many resorts in my 70 years and this is one of my favorites. The bed in the master bedroom was sooo comfortable, we actually preferred it over our own.

We’ve stayed at westwinds multiple times, one of our favorite places to stay. This condo was all it was advertised as. Especially liked that we had the use of the 4 beach chairs so we did not have to rent.

West Winds is an excellent resort. Beautiful grounds and amenities. The room is beautiful and clean with nice ocean views. The only complaint is the beds are in desperate need of an upgrade.

Having all elevators working this year was very nice so we never had to wait very long to go up or down. The condo itself was very nice and well decorated. When we arrived we were told the ice maker wasn’t working but that it would be looked at one day while we were there. A part had to be ordered so we did not have a working ice maker for the week. We bought bags at the store and made it just fine. Also upon arrival, we noticed the toilets had not been cleaned, or at least not to our satisfaction. Other than that, it was a beautiful view from the balcony each morning and night. The pool and pool bar and grill were amazing as always.

Loved our stay at Westwinds and our visit to Destin. We’ve been coming to Destin area for years but really like this location. The condo unit was well appointed and roomy for a family of 5, on the beach, very nice pool, hot tub.... we will definitely come back again and again!
