Some Flaws

I liked the location of the condo. However, the bed was very hard and cable tv didn’t work the 1st day. It was a nice place to be in except for bedtime bc of the bed being so hard. A good nights sleep is important but due to bed issues that didn’t happen.

Lovely unit

The unit is clean , and I mean all the areas are spotless. It just got better from there. The view from the master bedroom is exceptional! Really nice to wake up with that view. It is our 2nd time renting this unit and would be open to a 3rd time in the future.

Great spot for summer vacation

The views were great at Beach Manor. Bring your own beach chairs or get to the beach early to rent chairs. Bring your own beach towels and washing pods if you plan to wash more than 2 loads. Bring extra blankets, the beds don't have much of a blanket.

Lovely Condo, Vacasa Sucks

The condo we stayed in was great. Va Ada wasn’t. When we arrived, the front desk staff refused to allow us to bring our car on property. (We’ve been vacationing at the Tops’l since the 90’s and have never been treated so rudely ever before.) As a result, we, along with our two young children (the youngest of which is special needs) had to walk a mile in over 100 degree F heat index to get to the on-site restaurant, which we had informed the front desk we wanted to visit. The extreme heat made my youngest child sick and he was sick for most of the vacation. The ice maker in our unit didn’t work. We reported it to the front office, but they never sent anyone to fix it. Basically, service has gone to hell and there is no sense that a family of four, that has vacationed at this destination for generations should be treated this way. HORRIBLE.

We had a great time at Tops’l Beach Manor! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed! The beach and pool was Awesome! Vacasa was very easy to deal with renting and checking out! We will definitely stay here again!

Grounds and condo clean and neat. Everything you need is there, Great beach location at Beach Manor. Gate guards very helpful and courteous. A few negatives for seniors. Low height toilets and lack of grab bars. We had a great time.

Nice view

The unit is clean and has a great view. Very rare to find a fridge with an ice maker that works from the front door! The only negative I have is that the master bedroom needs room darkening curtains. At 6:30am, the room was as bright as day. Other than that we enjoyed our visit.

Our Destin place to go

Keypad needs to be fixed ASAP

We loved the condo and it was very nice! But we were locked out twice during our trip bc the keypad kept going out. I'm 7 months pregnant and me and my 4 year old were locked out in the cold for 2 hours. The was horrible and the staff on the phone didn't seem to care much. The wait times to get in contact with the staff to get a new keypad were 2 hours one time and almost a hour the second time. If they can get the keypad fixed, that would be great!

No air conditioning

Checked in on Monday night and realized the unit was a little warm in temperature. Adjusted the thermostat and waited a little while. Temperature was at 78 degrees and not going down. Called front office and they sent over the maintenance person. After 20 minutes he had run out of solutions and had to call in an actual AC repairmen. The second guy shows up about 45 min later and tells me that he needs a key to the closet to recharge the Freon. He could not get ahold of anyone at front desk so he left. The next day, we call and ask for someone else to come and look at it. Another tech shows up and refills the Freon and says that the air conditioner is probably going to need to be replaced because the coil is in bad shape. The unit stayed cool for about an hour and than back to 78 degrees. Spoke with the manager of the complex and he was able to swap us to the other building into a different unit that was not quite as nice.

Great condo!
