Convenient and great stay for price point

We enjoyed the very short walk to beach and the location of the condo. The area is very nice and quiet. Not a crowded area because no high rises which is great! Would definitely stay here again.

Dishes were dirty, microwave was touchy (had to slam door), faucet in kitchen dripped, bathroom toilet lid made funny noises when closed, had to keep lid open, coffee pot didn’t stay closed so would have coffee all over counter, mattress on bunk beds could be better.

Beautiful and clean

It was gorgeous it was a short walk to the beach, comfy beds, plenty of stuff to cook with in the kitchen. We will book again! If you have a small child I’d let them sleep on the bottom bunk bed, the top one has a decent sized gap but I also have a child that rolls around a lot in his sleep so it just worried me, this probably wouldn’t be an issue for a older child, but a smaller child it definitely is.

Great Location!

We love Gulf View II. The location is fantastic. The private beach is wonderful. The pool is nice. This is a great spot. You feel away from the hustle and bustle but still feel close to everything!

Another great stay!!!

We have stayed in several units at Gulfview and this one was great just like the rest. The price and location in relation to the beach cant be beat. Would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit!

Great for families

I was overall pleased with our stay. It’s a very short walk to the beach, which is great if you have little ones! We will definitely be making a trip back next year!

Nice view

This un it has a comfortable king size bed, most of the units I have stayed in in this complex just have a queen bed. Free Beach service is nice as well.

Sun-Fri Stay

Overall was a good place. Lovely view of the ocean from the balcony. Only minor disquiet was the cleanliness. But due to some previous reviews we had brought our own linens so had our own sheets/blankets/pillows so that helped. Kitchen was good. Bathroom was fine. Overall allowed us to have a good vacation.

Family vacation

Honestly the ice maker n the fridge/unit is the only thing anyone likes about this unit. It was so dirty. We had to buy cleaning supplies to clean it and sheets to sit on and cover the FOAM piece of mattress. Terrible.

It was the perfect location but the unit itself needs to be deep cleaned and updated!! The bathtub needs serious scrubbing and The couch was so stained up we wouldn’t even sit on it 😕

Place Was Ok

The location to the beach is amazing and getting two chairs and an umbrella is very convenient. The pools are nice as well. However, this stay was not at all like our others. This is our third time staying in this apartment. The apartment has not been well taken care of; the are very minimal pots and pans to cook with and they are broken or missing handles. The bathroom cabinet and shelves are coming apart because of the moisture in there. We also had some “unpleasant” visitors and it took them a week to finally send someone to come to spray for pest. The couches are really dirty and need to be steam cleaned, as well as, the tile floors. After you walk on the floors for a few minutes your feet are very dirty. When you first arrive the apartment looks clean and fresh but you very quickly realize all the things that really need to be cleaned and have not been taken care of over time.

Nice but not wow

Overall location was amazing! Great area beach was across the street, it was perfect. HOWEVER… our balcony door was broken and DID NOT LOCK, at all. The main pans to cook with were totally destroyed and one was crusty back and dirty. Gross. Shower curtain was moldy. I contacted the property management and during our stay they did not fix anything but told us after we left they fixed the door. Perfect. Good thing there was broom in the house because I took the head off and used it to wedge between the slider door and door frame to keep the door closed. Also, Teflon pans and Metal utensils… fail. Coffee pot and no filters or reusable filters. We ended up buying pans and a spatula just so we could cook. Would not stay here again. Property management did say they would reimburse us, but nothing yet. Not even a phone call. Bummer.

Close to the water but not a great stay overall

Not the vacation I planned to have here in Florida. Aside from the location and ease of check-in, I do not have anything good to say about Gulfview Condominiums or Vacasa rental agency. I reached out to Vacasa with a few pre-trip questions 3 weeks prior to my trip and have yet to get a response. I have since reached out 2 additional times while here at the condo (via phone and email) and have still not received a response. For starters, I am requesting a broom to be able to sweep the sand up from these tile floors throughout the condo. All tile floors and they have an outdated vacuum cleaner that just throws the sand around and no broom. Well, I found remnants of what once was a broom in a filthy hallway closet back behind the heating and air unit. Yeah not going to be crawling around in that disgusting, tiny closet to dig out a dirty, rusty broom head with no handle. Instead I’ve had to get creative with towels and other items to gather the sand into one central location so that we aren’t tracking it all over. There is a “shared” coin laundry that is used by BOTH condo buildings on this property so don’t plan on getting your clothes washed while you are here. One of the 2 outdoor pools is right outside our condo on the main floor(we are on the 2nd of 3 floors) and you can hear every thing going on out there all day. Especially at night there has been a group of kids screaming for the past 4 nights. It’s currently happening as I type this. Oh, and while we are on the topic of noise, the 3rd floor occupants directly above us have tested my patience for 4 days straight. I’ve tried to ignore it and not let it get to me but tonight I am at a breaking point. It’s like a herd of elephants stampeding back and forth. It’s constant. It’s early morning. It’s day time. It’s late night. It’s literally all day. Seems to get worse around 8pm every night. Tonight was absolutely no exception. Quiet hours do not seem to apply to everyone in the condo even though they were clearly expressed to us. The parking lot is always crowded and cars are parked in the ONLY loading/walkway to the entrance to the stairwell so that makes for an interesting experience just trying to bring things in and out from the vehicle. We have 2 parking spots included with this rental but only have 1 vehicle. I couldn’t even imagine having 2 vehicles here. On a positive note the bed is surprisingly comfortable and the beach chair and umbrella set up was nice. They don’t give you any information on how to get the beach side amenities set up but at least there were beach attendants that were available to ask. I have rented with many agencies throughout the years and I will say this is my first negative experience. I will definitely take customer reviews into account more when I rent in Florida again. Customer service is everything and if you can’t even do that right then you are doing it all wrong. My daughter and I have been trying to make the most out of this trip and our best memories are being made outside of the condo. I just wish we actually looked forward to hanging out here after a long day at the beach. Especially considering the amount of money we paid for this…..

I liked it a lot. What I liked the most was the cleanliness when we arrived. I would say that they need more bedding. My son only had a small blanket to use on the sofa bed.

Property was as expected. May have been a little "sticky" on surfaces and a little sandy in condo, but overall ok. Excellent in regards to closeness to beach. Literally a minute walk. Plenty of beach area and there were a lot of people.

Vacasa Customer Service is HORRIBLE

When you told there doing you a favor letting you in 5 min early … shows you they don’t appreciate your business!!! If I was the owner of this condo I would be looking into the people renting it out for me horrible customer service!!! There is no QUIET Time here also!!!! Bathroom would not drain and ice box leaks
