Great Location

Overall, it was a great stay. The home is located just one street away from the beach, in a mostly quiet neighborhood (it was temporarily loud at times due to spring breakers screaming). There was private access to the beach and to the community pool, that is just across the street. The home also has a heated pool extra cost), which was thoroughly enjoyed by our group. Some amenities could be improved, but if you come prepared expecting nothing, it should be fine.

WOW! STAY HERE! YOU WILL LOVE IT!

The house was immaculate! We rent a lot of vacation condos/houses and this one was squeaky clean; KUDOS housekeeping crew! (There were thirteen of us; ages 10-62) The management responded to texts VERY QUICKLY and a REAL PERSON answered the phones during business hours. They were so friendly answering my stupid questions about forgotten codes and location of silly things in the house. The pool…OH THE AWESOME POOL! We all LOVED IT! Since we were there in March, I paid to have the pool heated for 100 a day. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! From morning to midnight, someone was always playing or lounging in the big warm pool! (We never went to the community pool that is right across the street.) Here are some “good to know” facts about this house: driveway for three cars, street is more like an alley with very slow moving cars, private security is often strolling and patrolling the neighborhood, coffeemaker but NO KEURIG (I bought one), cookware for large crowd, ten seat comfortably at table with four more on barstools at the counter, we couldn’t figure out how to run the dishwasher and get clean dishes; no biggy, we don’t use dishwashers at home anyway. My recommendations to future renters to buy or bring: extra kitchen towels/dish clothes, laundry detergent, kitchen trash bags, salt/pepper, paper plates, pool floaties, SUNSCREEN!!!!! and extra toilet paper. We all decided this was the BEST family trip EVER and the house was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Thank you Beach Reunion Vacations via VRBO

Easter Vacation -too cold in April

The positives: The home is as lovely as pictured -very accommodating for our family of fourteen (infants to adults.) Grandchilden loved their upstairs bedrooms and play space. I think we were the first rental of the season, and some repairs were needed: A/C for humidity relief, being the main one. The pool was a huge saving grace as the beach air and water are far too cold in first two weeks of April. The gas grill needs replaced. Microwave door needs replaced. Stove top burners need repaired. Our street was lovely, but two streets away are a bit rough.

Family vacation.

This was a great property. It was everything we wanted. It was so close to the beach and the pool at the house was perfect for the children. The house was in a great location and walking to different places was so easy. I would recommend this to friends.

Pros & Cons

Pros - close to the beach, safe neighborhood, roomy house, comfy beds, working electronics, nice pool. Cons - terrible cookware, old outdated and sticky - not enough cookware to cook for 10-15 people.

Happy but slightly disappointed

House was nice , pool was dirty no one came all week to clean it. Asked specifically about a Keurig and was told there was one but there was not. We had to buy one to accommodate the families different coffee likes. I texted and never got an answer. Beach access was good and beach set up good.

No service

We arrived and the pool was disgusting. We called. They came two days later to clean it. Two tv’s in the media room did not work at all. The other one didn’t have a remote. We called because the kids were looking forward to playing the Xbox. A technician came out a day later. He told us he would be back the following day with a new tv and remotes. He never showed up. That’s a lot of money to pay and they can’t even fix things that are broken. The lights in the bunk bed room Didn’t work either.

Nice property

We enjoyed our stay at Happy Go Lucky. The pool size was amazing compared to others in the area. There was plenty of space for our 12 guests. Our biggest complaint would be the horrible internet service at the house. If you’re looking to do any work on vacation or need internet, don’t book at this property. The area is also super busy, so it made it difficult to eat at any restaurant around the area.

The property was absolutely gorgeous! Plenty of room for our large family! Private pool, community pool and beach access was great! When the coffee pot quit, replaced same day. Beach equipment was great! Wonderful!

Enjoyable stay

We stayed here for 2 weeks for virtual school for 6 kids and one adult to work from home. It was a great choice. The house is very roomy and beautifully decorated. Everyone had space to work and space to play together when not online. The kids were in heaven on the top floor. We chose to have the pool heater which was an amazing decision as it was used often. The location was nice as it was just 5 min walk to the beach. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would love to be back.

Great place to stay close to the beach.

Great place to stay. Loved the open ness of the place. We had 16 people here and it was plenty of room. Kitchen fully stocked. Nights and days at the pool had plenty of room. The house really has 3 adult bedrooms with a door. We put an adult couple in the loft area and there was no privacy. That really needs to be for a teenager or a young couple who doesn’t care that everyone will walk through their room to go to the bunk room. The walk to the beach was easy. We rented a golf cart and that made packing to the beach much better but it can be done easily without. Golf carts are street legal so it’s nice to have to run to the circle k or the Winn Dixie. Management was awesome. Always responded when I needed them.

Great Stay

Overall very nice stay at this home. Location is great just a short walk to the beach which is key as there is really no parking. The beach is private so was never too crowded whenever we went over and the chair service is so nice because you don't have to worry about finding a spot. We loved having our own pool and made good use of the gas grill. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils although pots and pans are showing their age. Not sure if it is COVID related but you must bring all of your own consumable items. Kitchen was bare not even salt and pepper, small bar soap, one roll of paper towels a few dishwasher tablets and a couple of trash bags. We realized the refrigerator went out on Monday evening and the management company was very responsive but it was not able to be repaired until the next day. They offered to refund the cost of a cooler and ice to keep the refrigerated items from spoiling although we are still waiting on the reimbursement.

Property is amazing

The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The bunk room on the top floor is great for the kids. The pool is a good size and it was great to have it in our backyard. Kitchen had everything you need! Very short walk to the beach and it was nice to have 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas. House is perfect for 2-3 families to share. The area is crowded but you are very close to restaurants and shopping. Loved our stay!

Great Property for 3 families

We had 6 adults, 6 teenage boys, and 2 8-year-old girls stay at the property for our spring break, and it was the perfect amount of space and an ideal location! We loved having a pool on property for the girls to swim any time of day. The beach is literally a 3-4 minute walk which was nice for multiple trips back and forth if we forgot something, wanted to grab a quick bite to eat, or wanted to use the bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils so we cooked several meals at home rather than always going out to eat. There is a coffee shop just a couple of blocks away and while at the beach, we were located at the halfway point between Pompano Joe's and The Whale's Tail - great for lunch or happy hour! The only downside to the house is the third floor bunk room gets pretty hot so the boys were uncomfortable a couple of nights. We will stay in this home again if we choose Miramar Beach as a vacation location!!
