Family Getaway

Our family had a wonderful stay at 160 Ciboney. The amenities were great, the home was clean, close to the beach (less than 5 min walk) and the kids loved riding on the golf cart and going to Alvin’s Island! Will definitely be staying here again the future.

Family summer trip

From start to finish appreciated punctual communication. Child locked us out of our own bedroom and management responded quickly to help. Clear nice area. Pool was basically across the street and perfect for us. Golf cart made the beach very accessible. Recommend to any type of group outing. For our family, it was nice and we’d like to go back!

Wedding weekend- amazing experience

This house was perfect for our family, we decided to get married in Destin, the house was perfect, master bedroom is perfect as a bridal suite. Perfect location, accessible to many stores, restaurants and the Beach!! There was an issue with one of the bathrooms but the property manager made sure to take care of so that we could better accommodate, very responsive to all of our questions. Thank you for helping make our wedding weekend a perfect one. Mr & Mrs Allerheiligen

Florida in February

I recently stayed here for a month with my family. There were between 4 and 15 of us staying here during that time. The property is in a great location, big enough for all of us, a few houses away from the pool, an easy walk to the beach. We all enjoyed the golf cart. The property manager was amazingly responsive to us. Anything we needed, they were there quickly and were very helpful. On the downside, this house has clearly been used a lot and is showing signs of neglect. Pictures missing off the wall, bedside lamps missing, lots of scuff marks on the walls, some areas of the wall touched up with different paint than the original, areas that have been cleaned with chemicals (behind toilets, along baseboards) glowing an irridescent green. There were only a few hangers in each closet. We received only two small teatowels for the kitchen for the entire stay, and some necessary kitchen items such as measuring cups & spoons, corkscrew etc were missing. Definite lack of teaspoons and decent wine glasses as well. No extra sheets or blankets on site but quickly provided on request. I think what's needed is a good going over for maintenance items and a thorough inventory before each set of guests arrive. Despite the minor inconveniences, we really enjoyed our February in Florida and our stay in this house and hope to return next year.

Great family vacation!

My family and I just left this home from our week long vacation. We had 14 people- 12 adults and 2 children- and plenty of room for everyone. Pros: ~Great location- only about a 6-7min walk to the beach, 9min drive to the outlets and about 12min drive to Publix. ~The house is spacious and has 3 levels- 2 rooms on bottom floor, 1 room (bunk beds on main floor) and 2 masters on third floor. ~The home included a 6 person golf cart, although I am not sure why they invested in such an expensive golf cart being that it will be sandy, wet, and dirty so quickly. There are definitely more cheaper golf carts that will do the job. ~Washer/dryer on bottom and third floor. ~Maintenance people were amazing! We had a couple of issues that were quickly resolved. ~Home had a large Connect Four and a really large Jenga game for use. ~The beach was great- water was clean and clear and sand was nice. Cons: ~One refrigerator- this is a big problem for a family that likes to cook. I definitely recommend the owners invest in a cheap fridge in the garage that can be used for drinks, etc. ~The home was clean but could have been cleaner. The cleaners definitely missed the areas in the closets, under couch, etc. We dropped some items on the floor in these areas and they were pretty gross. ~Storage in the bedrooms- the main floor did not have drawers to put your clothes in them. They have a desk in the room instead. ~Little to no outdoor space- there is a small deck in the front of the house that can comfortably seat 2-3 people. In the back you can seat 4 people by the grill. If you enjoy spending time outdoors at night this house is not a great fit for you. ~The pool that is pictured in the neighborhood looks huge in the photos but I would say it is more like a splash pool in reality. It has 8 chaises and about 6 chairs around it. The issue is all homes had huge families so once one family went to the pool there was no room for anyone else. Overall, great home that I would recommend for large families if a pool is not a deal breaker for you.

Best Beach Oasis

The house is well maintained. Love the double washer and dryers. The linens and bed were comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect!!! The golf cart was great to have. The only things, I would request the pots and pans to be updated. There also was some cooking utensils missing. The cable system barely worked. Also there was not enough towels and face clothes for our group. But besides those things the house was GREAT!!!

OMG this property was awesome from beginning to end!!! The location, cleanliness, property owner were wonderful!!! The property was exactly as described from the listing and photos. We are looking forward to a return trip, this will definitely be our go-to place to stay.

Multi-generational Family Spring Break

We enjoyed our trip. The home is aesthetically pleasing, but there were some areas(floors and couches) that need a thorough deep cleaning. We made the property managers aware, but they did not send anyone out and advised they were a few weeks behind on steam cleaning availability. We enjoyed the pool and the use of the golf cart was a major plus. Beach access is not walkable for small children. Overall, the home was well equipped for our needs as we did a lot of cooking and/or preparing meals, and there was space for everyone to relax.
