Didn’t mind the walk to the beach but recommend bringing a wagon to hall your stuff. Pools are very nice and free putt putt and Gym was excellent

Beautiful view, great location, short walk to the beach. All the fitted sheets were dirty upon arrival. The sofa bed is absolutely horrible, literally laying on springs, no cushion. Twin bed mattresses were pretty bad too. Definitely needs updating. Memory foam mattresses are so inexpensive now and come with warranties and a year trial period so that would be something that would be nice to get changed out. If you are needing that extra bed, I’d recommend bringing an air mattress. We unfortunately had to leave a day early because we couldn’t sleep like that.

We love to stay on this wing of the Summit and this unit was very nice and clean. The furniture is a bit dated and the bed and sofa not very comfortable. Still a wonderful experience!

So this was my family’s first trip to Destin and to this resort. Destin was absolutely beautiful! Awesome weather and awesome beach experience for the whole group!! The resort...well it was pretty disappointing experience. Once we arrived to the resort they were having power outage issues, which was out of our control and also the help at the resort which I understand. However after you have been driving for over 14 hours to arrive in Destin and walk into your condo and the lights don’t work and the A/C also isn’t working that’s not a good start. Once the power was back on then there was a problem with the water pressure and still with the A/C. So of course by that time the properties employees were all off so in order to talk to anyone about the ongoing issues you had to talk to a management staff that wasn’t even located in the state of Florida and they were very rude and not helpful at all! Finally spoke to someone who was able to help and get a maintenance employee to our condo and get everything resolved after hours of waiting. Overall like I said before Destin was awesome and a great experience but the condo was very disappointing. Idk if I would ever book here again and give them another chance or not. Just my opinion
