Yearly family beach trip (16 years)

Upon arrival, I contacted our host, David Andes to inform him the pictures didn’t accurately represent the condition of the home. There was a dead roach in living room, the living room furniture was filthy and stained, one of the quilts had a melted caramel candy all over it, the tv in living room wouldn’t come on, tv remote in 1st floor bedroom was missing and couldn’t watch the tv, the third floor tv wouldn’t work. The third floor bathroom was unfinished (Sheetrock and no paint). The first floor bathroom sink ran constantly and made a whistling noise. There wasn’t a grill, we had to buy one. Most importantly the third floor AC didn’t work. I contacted the host and he responded with sorry. After sending multiple messages on the same phone number I was given for any issues, he stopped responding to me. My son, his wife and 1 year old baby had to stay on the third floor with no air, it was burning up, up there They wouldn’t come stay in our room on the second floor because the baby was teething and didn’t feel well so she cried all night. They didn’t want to be on the floor with the rest of us and her keep everyone up all night. I continued messaging our host with no response asking for help on Thursday. By Friday morning I had to contact VRBO to report and request help. David messaged me and said he’d send maintenance guy. He didn’t show up til after 6pm Friday night. I will never use this host again. He wasn’t concerned at all.

Family Spring Break

The property was the best size for our entire family to enjoy. The location and the pool were exactly what we wanted for our stay, however we were disappointed the pool was extremely cold and was unbearable for any adult at the pool and kids tolerated it for a limited time. We were expecting a grill for family outdoor grilling time, which we have previously enjoyed at other locations. The home was not equipped with a toaster but we did make do, also a crockpot would be nice. The weather was perfect for our stay and we certainly took advantage of the outside area where the kids could throw balls and play four square. The inside wasn't as nice, some of the doors were in need of fixing, and the third floor bathroom toilet was running. However all in all the Villa was nice.
