Nice place, but rent a car

Nice place and kind of secluded. The beach is within walking distance, but not many restaurants are within an easy walking distance.

Nice place but might not be for everyone

I like to be honest in my reviews. If you are on a romantic trip and don’t want to hear kids yelling or running, this is not the place for you. Parents here didn’t show respect to other guests. We have stayed many places around Sandestin and never hear kids yelling or running. The building’s design causes echoing. Floors above us, we could hear a kid running down the walk way. I could hear them cleaning and vacuuming another unit. And just think, this wasn’t even a busy weekend. I can’t imagine summer time! Walk to the beach is a good half mile. Sure, they have a shuttle, it’s not too bad of a walk. Let’s talk about the view from the balcony. We loved it! Even saw some deer down below on the edge of the woods until some kid shined a flash light and yelled “mom! Look! Deer” and scared them away. You can’t see the waters edge or hear the waves but you can see the emerald green of the water. The sunrise was great too! Balcony is very private. Which we loved. We loved that you can see the tops of the trees toward the Topsail state park. Fridge is inside the cabinet below the countertop. It’s needs some attention. It doesn’t fit right and you have to shove the door to make sure it’s closed. This unit is great for a short stay. Bed was ok, if you like a firm noisy mattress, it’ll do. Shower was great, awesome update. All in all, it was a great time. Staff was all nice, the property is clean and well taken care of. We give Mike 5 stars for being awesome.

Nice place, Good times

Exactly as described. Lovely view of the Gulf. Saw a couple of deer on the edge of the woods from the balcony. Felt very private. About 5 minute walk to the beach. Several swimming pools throughout the complex. Check in was easy and quick. Bed is comfy and blackout curtains work well. Awesome fireworks display on the beach Saturday night. Close to a great escape room too. Check out was a breeze. Highly recommend.

Just somewhere sleep after you have been out all day and night.

I love the jacuzzi tub. Please replace the bed, dresser, and chair. This room is only for two adults that just want sleep when they get in from having fun all day. The beach is 5 to 7 minutes walk. This room is definitely facing the forest.

Needs a few items

Nice room, but the bed needs attention. Sounds like it’s breaking when you roll over or exit bed. Ice bucket would be nice. 2 glasses, but no on site ice available in entire Summit building! Have to make ice in a broken plastic tray, then have no storage once it’s made. Door has to be forced open & closed as it sticks to the tile floor. Fridge door does the same. Has to be forced closed.

Walk to the beach

The short walk down to the beach is nice. There are hoses and shower towers to wash the sand off before you walk up the hill to the room. The room was perfect size for the two of us. The bed is very squeaky so if your a light sleeper be prepared.

Family Vacation

Property looks just like it is pictured on VRBO. Clean, fantastic view, and just steps away from beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect

We went during off season and there were very minimal people in this community which was very nice during our stay. We ended up adding an additional night our last night there and the office was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and exactly what we needed for two people. The only issue was the jet tub, by the time it was almost full enough to get in the water was always cold. Other than that it was a great stay! Perfect gulf views and you can see the pool too!

Amazing Place!

This is a great condo! It is so big for a studio! It has a king size bed which is so comfortable! It has a huge double sink vanity and a garden tub with jets. Loved it! I would stay there again. I felt so safe!!!

Clean with nice side ocean view.

Very nice place and area. You get a side view of the ocean from the balcony. If you have mobility issues, or lots of fishing gear, it may be more difficult for you to access the beach since it's a short hike to it. Overall it is a good place to stay.
