「This is a clean, nice property! We loved the pool and used it every night of our stay! It is easy to get to but secluded enough, right in town, to feel like you have your own property. 」

「Travelled to MO to fish Table Rock and visit Bass Pro. This property was quaint and a perfect location with its proximity to HWY 65. I enjoyed the hammock and outdoor seating immensely. 」

「The Cottage 2 in which my wife and I stayed for four nights is a cute and quaint room facing east; very quiet and clean. Excellent linens. Small refrigerator with freezer was handy. We enjoyed the tree-shaded area for parking and the cottage fronts. Soft water, and personal hot water heater in each cottage, so you're not tied to other people using all the hot water. Lovely piece of property. Highly recommend.」

「The cottage seemed roomy for a one bedroom...very nice layout. The kitchen and bath were modern, comfy bed, large tvs, really everything we needed.we loved the screened-in porch and the deck. We played cards on the deck and grilled. We caught some small sunfish off the dock and enjoyed seeing deer, heron and ducks/ducklings each day.We didn't get out on the water, but the dock, kayaks, and ladder were awesome amenities.The steps down to the water were wide and well maintained, but challenging...

It was peaceful and quiet, the most noise you hear is the water and kiddos playing. i would definitely stay here again! it was close enough to food places, attractions, and restaurants to be convenient but tucked away enough to make you feel like you aren’t surrounded from people. a perfect get away place!」

「We truly enjoyed the location. Watching the boats and kids play on the water was entertaining. Relaxing, that was what we were looking for, a place to get away. The house was smaller than described, we made it work. Enjoyed eating on the deck every night. The host was great to work with very accommodating. Easy to find and access. The house was more lived in, not set up for guests to rent, again it was not difficult to make it work for us. We will be renting this home again. 」

「I rarely provide 5 star reviews; however, this place deserved it. This venue is a nice cozy cottage which is not in a touristy area, so you will surely enjoy the peace and quiet for a much needed relaxation experience. The boat ramp is not far (about 2-3 miles away) and once your boat is in the water, you can park it at the dock which is within walking distance from the cottage. This cottage no doubt has sufficient space to allow parking for both your towing vehicle and boat trailer. There...

「The house and the host were very comforting. I felt as if I were home in a cozy house enjoying my visit. Visit was much too short and we look forward to next time we come this way. 」

「Conveniently located in Old Kinderhook lodge area with good security, and pool and tennis courts within walking distance. Very clean and perfect for the week we needed to stay and do laundry and make our own meals. 」

「This "Little Blue Cottage" is wonderful--so much so that after our first stay in June, we re-booked in July on our trip back home. Tastefully decorated with all the creature comforts. Kitchen is great with a nice Keurig coffee maker with pods and creamers. Erica has done an excellent job managing this. She was always available for my questions and was great getting back to me. Next time we are in Kirksville, we will book our trip around the availability of this cottage!!」

「As mentioned in all reviews, the location is THE best! We stayed there during the 4th of July festival and were right in the middle of the action. BUT with the old thick brick walls when we shut the door all the noise was muted, not to zero, but low enough that it was no big deal. Bed was comfortable, the place was spotless, you get your own parking spot too. Could not recommend higher! -Matt」
