As soon as we walked into the hotel, I noticed how clean it was. The lodge is designed perfectly, inside and out!! Staff was very kind and helpful, food was great, rooms were clean. I would stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone coming out to Mitchell, SD!

I appreciate the uniquely SD decor & the shower curtain that has an appropriate picture on it if black bears! I’ve never stayed in a hotel that had a decor appropriare shower curtain!

I was really disappointed in the lack of cleaning. Other than the sheets the floors were covered in crumbs, dust on every surface and something gross on the shower floor. Clearly wasn’t cleaned- just sheets changed. Disappointing because it’s a cute little place.

Clean enough, nice lodge feel to the entrance but rooms are dated. Went to our first room and it hadn’t been cleaned so had to go back to get another room at midnight. Also lost an item. Called the hotel and they said they would look for it and call back. I never received a call back.

Check in was good. Room had a very musty odor to it and air never worked 76 degrees in my room, I requested another room. The air never worked in there also and the odor was bad again and the floors were very gritty like they were never vacuumed or cleaned at all. So third was better the air worked but still had the musty odor
