The Local Area
Moelfre is a very pretty village, steeped in maritime history. The lifeboat station and visitor centre are well worth a visit, as is Anne's Pantry, noted for its delicious cakes, coffees and other local fare. There are a handful of boutique and "shabby-chic" shops just around the corner from the house. A short drive away are some of the best beaches on Anglesey, including Lligwy and Traeth Ora. Or guests can head up to Mynydd Parys (Copper Mountain) in Amlwch to see the vibrant colours of this disused copper quarry.
