"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wyman. Room was very comfortable and well maintained enjoyed opening the windows for the fresh mountain air. Excellent coffee and cocktails available downstairs with helpful staff. Silverton was all decked out with golden aspens. Would definitely return."

"The atmosphere was amazing, the upgraded features with character and charm. Stayed during the Mountain Medicine Symposium, I already can't wait till next year! Enjoying the hot tub, with the fire burning and the trees faded to yellow. You will not be disappointed in this stay, or this town!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the San Juan backcountry Lodge! This property is first class, with everything being brand new! Beds are plentiful and comfortable. Being Off Grid is not even realized as all amenities are powered and covered by propane and Solar with a backup generator which you never hear. Lots of parking which worked out well for our three jeeps and three Tacoma trucks as we brought our motorcycles up as well. The large deck with barbecue, Outdoor dining table and sitting area with the fire pit was very nice to sit by in the evenings. We had fabulous thunder and lightning storms visit several times during our day and it did sprinkle a little bit each day. We were thrilled with the fall colors changing all around us as we traveled many of the high elevation passes on our daily adventures. Access to the semi-remote property up CR 33 from Silverton was no problem for our high clearance vehicles and jeeps. Renters definitely need to be aware of this accessibility requirement. We absolutely loved having no neighbors and no traffic noise, other than the occasional steam whistle from the Durango Silverton train passing in the lower canyon. Would highly recommend this lodging for anyone looking for a great quality, remote location. Anyone bringing side-by-side UTV’s need to be aware that Silverton does not allow them in the town but from the Lodge and on up the canyon to the trails above are usable. Silverton, Ouray and Telluride are all top of our list of faves!"
