Had we known there were steps we would not have rented. My husband is physical challenged and has difficulty navigating steps. My mother is 86 and has difficulty with steps also. Additionally, the home was marketed as having Netflix. None was available. When we inquired we were told no Netflix and then an apology that Netflix was available if we signed into to our own account. Ad should not have listed as an amenity. You can stream on most smart TVs with internet access. Understood it was a shared pool but locals were rude when we were at the pool as we were interfering with their lap walking. Lastly, trash should be removed by the property management company and not the responsibility of the renter. It was an inconvenience. Kitchen was well equipped and functional. We had an enjoyable visit with family while at Smith Mountain Lake.
