The rooms were very comfortable. We had connected rooms with my teenagers. Clean, breakfast was ok. Montecatini is a good location to visit different Italian cities. Cafe, restaurants and bars are walkable.

Quite a nice stay but could improve
A nice stay but could have been improved in some areas. No towels pool side and when I politely asked I was told “wait 10 minutes” then they were dumped on a wall and I wasn’t even told they were available. The breakfast is the same old thing every day and it’s like a canteen. Fruit poor and I don’t eat meat or eggs so v little for me. There is no choice - breakfast is always included. The coach loads kept coming so it was heaving at every breakfast time. Staff mainly v helpful although not all. One v smiley bar girl and one lovely girl in the breakfast room otherwise everyone just doing their job and that was it. Loved the use of bikes, gym nice and pool area pleasant. If only it was no smoking - too many times I had to move to get away from fumes.

The Stuff is average, got a call at 3 AM in the morning from the front desk to ask for a copy of my ID. Booked a triple room, got a double bed made of two twins cheap mattresses

One of the best...
A really nice 3 x nights. We arrived really late to the hotel, thanks to numerous queues and traffic congestion at the italian border with France. Reception checked us in really quickly had the hotel restaurant delivered a late meal to the room. The room was recently renovated and in 'as new' condition overlooking the outdoor pool. The room was spacious, modern and comfortable. Aircon was a godsend as usually I choose not to use it however at low power, we slept well. Breakfast was good with a large variety of choice, and eggs and bacon were always warm and plentiful. Reception, restaurant and the lounge areas were always clean and inviting. Best of all was the outdoor pool. Practically lived in it! Always a sun bed available if you were patient. Hotel location was good, close to the bars and resturants. Would definitely consider rebooking for next summer.
A decent size outdoor plunge pool, hotel situated in front of a large park and gardens.

Hotel was really lovely, relatively quiet so we had no problem getting a bed by the pool, might not be quite so easy if the hotel was full. We were upgraded to a Junior suite which was amazing. Montecatini-Terme is Definately a place worth visiting and very easy to get to in the train.

Super Spa Town
A hotel of 2 halves! Reception, restaurant, bar and pool area are all swish and modern but bedroom block was dated with worn carpet and broken knobs on spa bath tub. That said, I enjoyed my stay. Bedroom was large, quiet and comfortable. Staff efficient & helpful

the hotel lobby is very modern & lovely. the staff very friendly but their english could have been better at reception. breakfast was disappointing. unfortunately when we got to our room it was like something from the 1950's, in dire need of an overhaul.

Lovely relaxing Hotel
Croce Di Malta is a very good hotel, with excellent service and cleanliness, the breakfast is top class, and the pool area is spotless and well maintained, an added bonus is the two hour "happy hour" each evening when all drinks are half price. I would stay at this hotel again and would recommend to friends.

Good hotel, good location, good value for money
We stay in the hotel for 5 days to visit places of interest in Montecatini Terme and around. Good location for this case: close to the railway station of Montecatini Terme, close to Funicular to Montecatini Alto, to city center and other attractions. Good breakfast and helpful stuff. Only one problem in this hotel took place -parking .We received a voucher for parking from the hotel to park near the hotel, but usually parking places were full.

Good location
Good hotel with friendly staff, it was hard to find the street due two roads closed of on weekends. Very good breakfast, room a little tidy but all good.

Excellent hotel close to town centre and station
We had very comfortable stay at this hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast was served each morning by friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We would recommend this hotel to all visitors to Montecattini Terme.

Excellent staff, pools, and breakfast !
I was extremely satisfied by my stay, particularily because I don't speak very much Italian and the staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. The pool and the fitness center were great, as was the location next to the park. The room was spacious and comfortable, although a new carpet may be in order soon.

A Perfect Base for a Tuscany Holiday
The hotel is ideally situated within close walking distance of the centre of Montecatini. Its pool, reception and public areas are second to none and added to the overall feeling of relaxation and wellbeing that my wife and I felt during our stay. And this was much added to by the excellent Spa facilities available in the hotel through their Thai Silk Spa. Our room was at the corner of the hotel and from our balcony we had magnificent views of the town, the nearby public park as well as the wonferful mountain top town of Montecatini Alto. All of the staff were most helpful, often going out of their way to add to our experience. We plan to return to Grand Hotel Croce di Malta Wellness & Golf in the very near future.

great hotel for business people and couples.
Staff were courteous and polite but not forthcoming. A smile would have made all the difference from the reception staff. We had to ask about all the facilities available. The web site diid not indicate that there would be a charge for the indoor pool.The spa staff were very friendly and smily and the treatments were excellent.

Peaceful location near the park
I absolutely loved it, and would like to return every year for a week. This hotel was the best on our whole trip. Quiet, beautiful, easy walk to park, spa and town.

Good, Convenient Hotel
Well located for travel and conveniences but still quiet and peaceful. The rooms are comfortable - though the air conditioning is somewhat unreliable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Eating places and the railway station is within a walking distance. The indoor pool which is advertised is for all practical purposes not available for the guests.

Relaxing and restful
We found this hotel very clean and comfortable with plenty of seating around the hotel for relaxing. Our room on the top floor was lovely with a large bathroom and balcony with lovely views over the park and town, but very quiet.The only downside was that your need to be up before dawn to locate a sunbed around the pool area, as towels were on the beds at 6.30a.m., and feel that this is a policy the hotel should remedy as we were there for one week and were never able to locate a sunbed until very late afternoon . We would however recommend this hotel and location for convenience of exploring the nearby tourist attractions.

Croce di Malta Beautiful Hotel
The Hotel is beautiful. The staff are very nice with very good english. It is deffinitely a 4 star and I do not believe the website does it justice. When we arrived we were given a room in what appears to be the old part of the hotel and on the second night I complained. We were then lucky enough to be moved to the new rooms on the third floor of the new building. The manager on nights was very helpful and the staff were very helpful also. They helped me with the bags as I carried our small child to bed. This room was outstanding. It looked like a suite witha balcony and fantastic views. The pool is beautiful. The breakfast was great, with a great choice. The hotel is walking distance from the train station. Be careful with the taxis, they can be very expensive. 10-13 euros from the station which is only a 3 minute drive. Make sure you ask the taxi driver first for the price. The taxi drivers always look like they are not doing business (I wonder why). This is a boutique hotel with an upmarket clientele. There is no messing there and it is very relaxing. I would deffinitely recommend this hotel but be sure you get one of the newer rooms. There is a supermarket 15 mins walk away and it sells food etc., for cheap prices. The local little shops are expensive. There appears to be Farmacia's everywhere and they are expensive also.

The hotel is located in a lovely neighborhood, a bit too far to walk with luggage from the train station, but otherwise within walking distance of attractions. The public areas in the hotel have been recently renovated, but the room we had needed renovation; old carpeting, minimal decor. That being said, the room (a junior suite) was large, the bathroom expansive, though a shield for the shower would have prevented water on the bathroom floor.

Vi havde glædet os rigtig meget til dette ophold, men vi tog hjem før tid da det simpelthen var så skuffende. Morgenmaden var intet sigende og trist, ingen wifi, poolområdet var trist og kedeligt, værelserne lige så på trods af at vi fik opgraderet vores værelse. De var søde og rare i receptionen, men ellers virkede personalet triste over at være på arbejde. Der var ingen service, ikke engang et ‘hej og velkommen til’ når man gik ned til morgenmaden. Meget trist.

Hotellet var meget rent og ligger rigtigt godt placeret i byen, poole området og poolen er efter vores mening for lille til hotellet størrelse. Det mad vi bestilte i poolbaren var ikke særligt godt, og helt galt gik det da vi fik vores cecar salat hvor kyllingen var erstattet af 4 rejer og salaten var bitter. Så den kan ikke anbefales. Der var godt med personale i receptionen som var hurtige og imødekommende

Très bel endroit
Bel hôtel propre agréable avec superbe piscine et personnel au petit soin. Bien situé, propose les repas et petits déjeuner. Pas de parking mais une offre pour le stationnement moins cher. Chambre agréable pour 2 mais petite pour 3.
