"Over all this hotel suited my needs....my mobility is hampered after suffering a stroke...so my room allocation was the 18th floor...be prepared to speak fluent languages but not english....when you check in....then be prepared too get a taxi too another hotel 10 minutes away...why they don't issue the key's at the tarik as they used too is a complete mystery...then there's the 9 digit code you have to tap into your door handle...take some one small with you...it'll help."

"The apartment fully met our expectations. Everything was perfect, and the terrace is a dream.One small suggestion for improvement: a short leaflet with a few tips about the apartment, adjusting the air conditioning (not a standard unit for Northern Europeans), garbage disposal, and little things like that.We enjoyed our short stay"

"Unbeatable location right by the beach! Waking up to sea views and having restaurants and shops just steps away was amazing. The apartment was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed, especially the balcony with the BBQ. Perfect for a relaxing getaway!"

"Super Lage, schnell beim Strand, direkt einen Supermarkt unten, super schnell in der Altstadt. Ausstattung der Küche könnte etwas mehr sein (keine Pfanne, kein Toaster, keine kleine Saftpresse etc). Altino ist ein super lieber Gastgeber, der uns dann auch auf die Schnelle noch einen Ventilator besorgt hat "

"We had a fantastic family holiday here in September 2025. Great location on the edge of Praia da Rocha and a short walk from Praia do Vau. We love the family friendly atmosphere and accommodating nature of Portugal which made our trip with a 9 month old easier than we expected. The hotel is well styled and gives a sense of luxury the moment you step inside. Our room was perfect with plenty of space for a cot bed and playtime. The room was very quiet apart from a little traffic noise which can’t be controlled. Our bathroom had a bath which was ideal for our baby. All parts of the hotel were thoroughly cleaned by the lovely hotel staff. The hotel pool is small but perfectly adequate for a relaxing dip to cool down, and with the beaches close by, it was never too crowded. We had a great time and believe the whole experience was great value! Special thanks to Vivian on front desk for being so lovely with our daughter! Would definitely recommend a stay here and we would certainly go back!"
